Here it is...the page you've been waiting for...About Me! (Thanks to Kimmee for the format!)

The Basics:

Full Name: Well, its online, and you can find it quite easily, but not here! Nyah nyah!

Birthday: May 16

Astrological Sign: Taurus

Zodiac Sign: Boar. (Just like Al! Really!)

Birthstone: Emerald

President in year of birth: Quite honestly, I have no idea. All hail public education!

Gender: Female

Race: Caucasian

Ethnicity: Part Scandanavian, part Cherokee, part weird.

Height: 5 5

Weight: Im not overly chunky, Im not rail thin...I dunno.

Hair color/length/style: Blonde with bits of red. Or red with bits of blonde. Its about half and half really. And all natural too. (If I dyed my hair, itd probably turn green...so Im not trying it.) Its about three feet long (wow, Im such a throwback) and wavy/curly. I have bangs that have a mind and agenda of their own.

Eye color: Medium blue.

Complexion: Im quite pale most of the time, unless its midsummer. Then Im lobster red.I also have lots of freckles.

Right or Left Handed?: Im a rightie. (How boring.)

Glasses, contacts, or neither? Glasses. I have astigmatism, which means I have warped eyeballs. (Kinda like my warped mind...)

The More Amusing Basics:

Soap Opera Name (name of your first pet + mother's maiden name): Ben Sniff...how romantic. I see Ive switched genders...par for the course.

Porn Star Name (middle name + street you live on):Lynne Centerview. (A big no comment on that one).

Evil Twin Name (be original or your name spelled backward): Her names Lisa, and I ate lunch with her when I was in high school.

Family Statistics:

Spouse or significant other
: My significant other is named Ben. Weve been dating for over five years.

Parents -- married, divorced, or other: Married for about 27 years.

Siblings? if so, birth order?: Im an only child. (That explains everything.....)

Children or grandchildren? if so, names and ages: None and none.

Pets: Misty (my fluffy gray kittycat-shes very pretty. Her eyes change colors. Weird...)

Hobbies:

frivality...obviously.
Playing the French Horn (an instrument that, like the accordion, gets no respect)
writing stuff-song lyrics, poetry, silly fiction, semi serious fiction, parodies, serious fiction, movie scripts, play scripts, you name it, Ive written one.
Im in the choir as well...Im an Alto. Im also a Tenor (occasionally.) So really, Im an Altenor.
reading-I read constantly. Mostly, I read my favorites-Anne McCaffrey, Piers Anthony, Tamora Pierce, Grant/Naylor, Brian Jacques, I could go on, but I wont...it would take forever. I occasionally delve into a classic-the unabridged Les Miserables, for example.
surfing the web...I am so addicted. I live on the Internet.
Listening to music-Im always playing something. From Weird Al to Mozart, I cover pretty much all the bases (except the artists whose lyrics are about questionable moral activities...the non-intentionally-funny kind.)
Crafty stuff-Ive got a nice pile of unfinished stuff to do in my free time
Puzz3D puzzles. I am officially addicted. (I finished one in an hour once. 365 pieces.)
Computer games. I like the role playing ones, as well as the world domination ones (heh heh heh).

Eating Habits:

Favorite alcoholic beverage: Well, lets see...I dont drink. I prefer to watch other people get drunk (loads of fun!) Plus they shout all sorts of fun things when they walk under your window. "I don't play the mandolin...I play the LUTE!"

Favorite non-alcoholic beverage: Hands down-Pepsi. Straight from the can. Cold.

Favorite meal: Roast beef with noodles and peas and corn and mashed potatoes and carrots and...you get the picture.

Favorite vegetables: Corn on the cob. (Typical Iowa response there...)

Favorite junk food: Twinkie Weiner Sandwiches. Mmmmm.

Favorite candy: SweetTarts or any one of the myriad clones, Apple and GrapeHeads.

Favorite dessert: a scoop of French Vanilla ice cream nestled with a scoop of Chocolate Fudge
Brownie ice cream...yum.

Favorite cookie: Chocolate chip

Favorite ice cream: See favorite dessert.

Hygiene Habits:

Toothpaste -- brand used and squeeze from the middle or roll up from the end?: Crest mint something-or-other...dunno.

Shampoo used: Pantene Pro-V (and on occasion, Awapuhi)

Conditioner used: Awapuhi

Styling products used: Hairspray to tame my wild bangs. If you thought Als hair (circa 1980s) was puffy, you should see me when I get up. Let me rephrase that...its worse than that (and with three feet of hair, thats pretty bad.)

Blow dry or air dry?: I blow dry my bangs to keep them in line, but I let my main mop of hair air dry.

If you have long hair, do you usually wear it up or down? On special occasions?
: If I was lazy the night before and didnt wash it, I wear it up (because after Ive washed it in the morning, it will drip for the next two hours if I dont.). If I washed it the night before, I let it down. And occasionally, when I have the time, I braid it in interesting ways. (Leia is a big inspiration, as is the Ever After chick whose name I can never remember.)

Makeup -- daily basis, occasional, or special events only? (if applicable): None on a daily basis. Too much time and effort. I wear makeup only when the situation forces me into it. That would mean stage makeup, colorguard makeup (some of that makeup was awful...) and thats about it.

Makeup used when worn (brands and types): Max Factor. (Stage makeup.) Otherwise, I was borrowing stuff from other guard members.

Deodorant brand and scent: Whatever I throw into the cart.

Favorite perfume/cologne fragrance: I go in for the Bath n Body Works scent extravaganza lotions.

Nail polish -- yes or no? If yes, favorite color: Yes, whenever I have the time. Mostly bright colors and holiday themed ones when appropriate.

Ladies -- shave legs or wax? Gents -- aftershave or not?
: Shave...I have this thing about hair being ripped violently out of my skin. Call me crazy...

Shower or bath?: Bath when I shave (less cuts and gashes that way) but otherwise a shower.

Sing in the shower or not? If so, what do you sing?
: I sing whatever I darned well please. Choir songs, Al songs, songs off my Demento CDs, show tunes, you name it.

Dress Habits:

Dress size (ladies), trouser & shirt sizes (gents): Since dress sizes vary incredibly depending on where you are, heres a visual. Al in a dress. (With a bit more of a female figure, and of course my face.) There ya go.

Shoe size: It varies...but about 8, 8 1/2.

Heels or flats? (if applicable): Flats. Heels are bad, because my feet tend to slide sideways in them and leave me on the floor.

General/casual attire
: Jeans and a Tshirt or a sweater. I also wear a pair of wild socks whenever possible.

Special occasion attire
: Skirts below the knees, (miniskirts are not my friends), whatevers appropriate.

Professional attire -- skirts or slacks? (gents: slacks or khakis?): I work in a dining center. I wear jeans and that attractive red and black polo shirt that is our uniform. Wheee.

Socks -- white or colored?
: Wild and wacky. Toe socks, animal prints, lots of colors.

Driving Habits:

Car (make, model, year, color): I used to have two cars. 89 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, light blue. Her name is Bolarideth. 89 Ford Escort, dark blue. Her name is the Hobo. And then both of them died *sniffle* so I'm carless.

Prefer stick or automatic?: Automatic. Id probably make a stickshift car explode.

Whitewalls or blackwalls?: I dont really care.

Hood ornament?: Yes. I have a hood ornament, though I have no car.

Something hanging from the rear-view mirror?: Ditto.

Bumper/window stickers?: Ditto again.

License plate - personalized or plain?: No license plate.

Driving habits -- speed? rolling stops? use turn signal for lane changes?: No, no, and yes. Im trying not to get a ticket...so far, Ive been successful. Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah.

Parallel parking -- can you do it?: Yes. Quite decently, as well.

Radio or tape playing while driving? What's playing? Do you sing along?: If I have a tape/CD player,Im blasting my Al tapes/CD's, passenger whining ignored. And you bet I sing! But in cars with just radios, I hit the Best Music of the 80s 90s and Today station. Or the Recent Hits station. And I sing if I know the words (if its an original Als parodied, I go for his version). Or the Classical station.

Miscellaneous pointless questions:

What's on your answering machine? The same message it came with...its the family machine, so I let the rest of the family worry about it.

What is the coolest gift you've ever received? What's the coolest gift you've given? Recieved...theres quite a few. The ones I get the most mileage out of are my computer, my Al stuff, and my stereo. Given...I gave the gift of Al to my cousins. (Im passing the obsession down the family tree.)

Have you sent or received flowers in the past year?Yep. All those backstage preshow flowers. Oh, you mean romantically? Yep.

Assuming you have one, what's sitting on your computer monitor or in your work area? My picture of Ben, my picture of me with Al, my picture of me with Bermuda, my computer and accessories, my Harvey the Wonder Hamster, and random Al-related decorations/pictures.

About how many books do you own? About how many of those have you read?: I own more than I should, and I continue to buy more. Ive filled up a few bookshelves-were talking floor to ceiling here. And Ive read all but about 25 of them.

Do you collect anything? If so, what, and about how many do you have? I collect dust. Its strewn about my room on top of everything else I own. Yee ha.

Do you own a calendar or date book? Do you use it? Yes, the school distributes them for a mandatory dollar, so I use the sucker.

When you're jotting down notes, do you print or write (cursive)?: I usually print, so Ill be able to read it later. While in class, however, I tend to scrawl stuff down in the most horrendous chicken scratch, with the occasional drawing thrown in.

When you doodle, what do you draw?: People that look sad, but are dressed in scifi costumes (originals) and people with large heads and small bodies.

Do you prefer to use cash, checks, or credit cards? Cash-mostly. Checks-sometimes. Credit-emergencies.

Are you an impulse shopper or do you consider your purchases carefully? I think about it before I buy it, and there are very few things I buy that I end up wondering why?

Hypothetical questions:

You're putting away your groceries. Do you put the cans in the cupboard any which way, or do you turn the labels to face outward? Do you sort the food or just jam it in there?: I let my mom do that. Aint I a good kid? ;)

It's tax time. Where are your W-2s and receipts?  Um...wherever my left socks are.

Your computer crashes. When is the last time you backed up
? Back up? Whats that mean?

It's your best friend's birthday. Do you send an e-mail or a snail-mail birthday card? Is the card belated or on time
? I go for the email approach most of the time. Its normally on time (unless my mail system crashes, which its done more than enough times, thank you.)

Favorites
:

Favorite colo
r: Blue. Its one of the rare colors that doesnt clash with my hair, so I wear a lot of it.

Favorite/lucky numbe
r: 16. I have the same thing with 16 as Al does with 27...its everywhere.

Favorite subject in schoo
l: Im not too ecstatic about school in general, but I liked English (the non-grammar portion).

Least favorite subject in schoo
l: math and gym. Anything involving numbers is an evil class, and being graded on physical ability is evil incarnate. (Not to mention one of our gym teachers in high school was also a driver's ed teacher who got his license taken away for drunk driving...)

TV show
s: I'm a nut for British comedy. Monty Python, Red Dwarf, Are You Being Served?, Keeping Up Appearances, you name it. Whose Line is it Anyway is great...both American and English. The Simpsons, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and any show with Al mentioned are good. I also like the weird left-of-center stuff, like Sifl & Olly, Clone High, and The Brak Show.

Movie
s: UHF, The Princess Bride, Mel Brooks' movies, Monty Python, basically any good comedy. And you gotta love Evil Dead 2-it's a wonderful heartwarming comedy. Rocky Horror Picture Show is great.

Musi
c: Dementia. I am a demented person. At least two-thirds of my CD case contains CDs from Al, Dr. Demento, Throwing Toasters, the Great Luke Ski, Tony Goldmark, Rob Paravonian, The Four Postmen...the rest is Steve Jay, Jim West, a few random musicals and two 'normal' albums.

Most interesting injur
y: The time when I fractured both my elbows at once (yes, elbows can fracture-quite stunningly). The "best" part was that I was forbidden the use of my arms for five days. I couldn't use my arms for anything. Eating, bathing, writing-let me tell you, I don't know how these royals stood all that "pampering". I about went nuts. Fortunately, the splints came off then, and I could resume my normal life-with the added bonus of two bright blue slings strapped on me. You think falling brastraps are bad? Try falling slingstraps.

Favorite pla
y: "Don't Dress for Dinner," by someone I can't remember. It's a marvelously twisted play.  (Or perhaps the jewel of mine called Twine in Line. It was inspired by The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota.)

I can't take it anymore! Take me to the
Index!
