smeagol

Hmm.. Frodo's relationship twists and turns a lot. At first, Smeagol is introduced beating up Frodo and Sam for the ring. But once Frodo puts a sword up to his neck, he starts whining/crying, pleading him not to push the blade any closer. Frodo ends up not anyways.. but ever since then, Sam could not trust Smeagol. Frodo is lighter on him then Sam, and has more of a relationship with Smeagol then Sam does. Sam constantly beats up Smeagol whenever believes something suspiscious is going on, in protected of Frodo and himself. But Frodo ends up pulling Sam back, telling him to calm down. Sam has been right all along, but Frodo refuses to listen/understand, and ends up learning it was all trickery and lies. At first, they tie Smeagol's neck to a string and pull him along, while Smeagol screams 'IT BURNS US!! SET US FREE!' and Frodo ends up setting him free, holding him to his word: "If youse is nice to us, we be nice to youse." And he did stick to his word. I really though Smeagol might've changed towards Frodo, once Frodo called him 'Smeagol', and Smeagol's like 'What did you call me...?' since he even forgot his own name when he got the ring, and named himself Gollum. Ever since then, Smeagol was nicer to Frodo, and acted more like a friend, but no different towards Sam, 'The Fat Hobbit' or 'The Fat One'..

Frodo trusted Smeagol, and Smeagol trusted him at first. Until when they were at a lake, and Smeagol was singing while fishing, and those peoples took him away. he's like 'MASTER BETRAYED US!!' I felt really sad for Smeagol. I almost cried. :( Lol. Anyways, Smeagol ended up forgiving him, because Frodo didn't excactly want this to happen, but not fully, I guess. Then, Smeagol tricks Frodo into believing Sam wants the ring, and he'll try to take it from him. So, when Sam says 'I'll carry it for awhile. To share the burden.' And Frodo totally goes off on him and says 'Go home, Sam. You can no longer help me.' and Sam says 'It's that stupid Gollum! He's turned you against me!' But Frodo ends up leaving Sam, crying. Sam cries alot. Though, Smeagol leaves Frodo in Shelob's Lair, and after getting away from Shelob for a little while, he saus 'Sorry, Sam...' to himself, and notices, that relationship he thought he had with Smeagol was fake, and a lie.

So yeah, there's my big essay thing on their relationship. ^_^ Please do not take without asking- I could legally sue you.

Come, Hobbitses...
