Many of the ads we read are powerful enough to make us feel better about ourselves, or tell us that if you want to be cool or fit in a certain group than you need to use our product.  Some also sell a lifestyle or way of life.  Some ads that i have seen that do this are major clothing labels.  The images at the bottom from Ambercrombie, American Eagle, or Aeropostale use beautiful models and hire good looking people, young people to work in their stores.  We are exposed to these types of ads, and many others every day in our lives.
