My interests lie mainly in the creative arts; music, theatre, and photography.
I studied psychology at Auckland University which spurred my interest in Human Behaviour and abnormal psychological conditions, and in particular the work of Oliver Sacks author of "The Man who mistook his Wife for a Hat: and "Awakenings" which inpsired the movie of the same name featuring Robert De Niro and Robin Williams.
In addition to disertations on patients with psycholigical disfunctions, the work of OIiver Sacks also examines patients with enhanced psychological conditions, such as mathematical genius, unique musical talents etc.
When travelling, I practice B&W photography and have collected many images of countryside & locals across Asia.
At home, my family life is a fairly quiet one. I live with my partner and our Scottish Terrier "Bonnie". Much of my spare time is spent cooking, listening to music burning cds, cooking, gardening and indulging in red wine.
