General:
M5 looks terrible, but there is a very consistent strat for it. Good
scores
are easy too, but the
record strat is annoying. It�s a fun stage to fool around, and most
people
kind of like it.
I want a consistent finish!
I read this on the GameFAQs board, GameCube04 posted it, but I�m sure
other
people do it the
same way, and I don�t know who figured it out first. Wait a
split-second,
hold forward, then go
right to go parallel to the edge pretty close to the edge, at about 1/3
the
distance between end
of hole and end of platform (i.e., shortly after the end of the middle
hole)
go left 90 degrees,
maybe you have to reduce speed a tiny bit because a block has not yet
moved
away, then head
for the goal. You will not touch a single block, it�s consistent and I
get a
56.25 finish quite often.
I want a good score!
11400 is an easy score, and you should have no problems getting it.
Wait a
split-second, go
forward, then go right, pull over to the left to hit the edge of the
hole
about 1-2 tiles left of the
corner. You should fly up and over a block, and now it is a bit random
what
happens, but
sometimes you hit a block at high speed from where you get kicked into
the
goal at high speed,
and you usually finish with 57.21-57.28 if that happens. It also
happens
somewhat frequently
when you try the WR strat, so you may try to pull off that.
I want the record!
Wait a split-second (as little as possible, you�ll see what happens if
you
don�t wait long
enough), hold forward, then over to the right, pull over to the left so
you
hit the edge of the hole
about 1 1/2 tile from the corner, now you should fly up and to the
left,
over a block. When you fly
to the left after the bounce, you should fly nearly 90 degrees to the
left,
i.e. when you land after
jumping over the block, you should only be like 1 tile away from the
edge of
the hole. Anyway, in
the moment you land, a block splits up and if you�re lucky it hits you
towards the goal at high
speed. The main problem is that it usually hits you too far to the
right. If
you get this strat to
work, you should have a score of at least 11480.
