This is a rather strange stage, a bit like one of those comedy boxing gloves you always get in cartoons. Er, without the boxing glove. Normal Mode is pretty ok with this (though it's one of the hardest Expert Extras), but the WR is unfortunately all about lucky bouncing.
I want to finish consistently!
If you can get the extras, you can beat this level without any difficulty. Just wait for the platform to come over, hop on then get onto the round hinge (Cck: I don't actually get onto the orange thingy, I just roll up to it and "lean on it"). Wait for the hinges to all come together (if the camera screws you up, use the radar), whiz over to the far one and onto the platform. Wait to be carried over to the goal and roll in.

Obvious enough. Wait for the platform to come into reach then fly across as fast as possible, making sure to get all the bananas (Cck: I don't think you can actually do much to get all bananas. It really depends on your bounces, and I miss a banana pretty often. Also, I suggest you try to get 5000 points, just because it stinks to have 4980 or something like that). This way has its limits though. For a truly good score it�s WR time�

So do I. Unfortunately, a certain Mr Ferret�s got this one, so I can only tell you how I got my score, about 40 off the WR. At the start, go to the back left of the starting platform, wait until the thing is almost fully extended (about 27:00) and swirl towards the opposite corner. You might want to adjust to up-left before you hit the platform for a bit of extra zip. You�re trying to get flicked off the side of it, a bit like A4. Then proceed as with the good score strat. You should get over 5000.
I doubt Ferret did anything hugely different for his record, just managed a nice run. But then again, knowing Ferret�
