General:
This was my first record on SMB, so I liked this stage from the beginning. When boosting was discovered, I tried to apply it to every level, including E3. On literally my second try with boosting, I got 25432, which is still the record and probably the max for this stage, too.
I want a consistent finish!
Go right and roll forward, stop before the turning platform. In a few seconds the platform will stop, and that's your cue to roll into the goal.
I want a good score!
25430 and 25432 are the only good scores, so follow the record strat.

Boost right to the right side of the stage, roll a bit parallel to the edge on your left (about 2 squares away), then go slightly to the left as you fall down, hit the exact edge (NOT the green squares) and hopefully bounce straight into the goal at high speed. Usually, I get 25430 when I go through the middle of the goal and 25432 when I break the ribbon at the far left.
