General:
This is the reason boosting was discovered. The record used to be 5960, which was the same finish time (58.30) as the B1 record at the time. However, you roll a greater distance (because of the hole in front of you) and jump into the goal (which is slower). This strange observation led Sucram to try the path you take on E1 for B1. The rest is history, or something.

I want to finish consistently!
I sure wish I could.

I want a good score!
I'd say 5960 is good, follow the record strat.

I want the record!
Boost right, then left, pick up the two bananas exactly as on B1. As you will notice, the gap where the goal is causes the ball to jump, which makes you slow. However, you can roll over without the slightest jump. This will give you the record. You can't do it consistently, but if you try for long enough I'm sure you can do it. I've noticed that you don't jump when you hit the back of the hole at a perfect 90 degree angle. If you did the B1 path, you wouldn't roll into the goal perfectly straight. But if you just slightly straighten out before the goal, you have a good chance of not jumping at all, or getting a small jump for 5960.

Current Record: 5962
Finish: 28.31
Bananas: 3

Difficulty rating for 5962:
3/5
