General:
What an annoying stage to get the record, what an easy stage for a good score!
I want a consistent finish!
Hold up at the beginning, then move slightly left and you're in.
I want a good score!
A good score is 5810. Essentially, this is the record strat but with a 28.55 finish instead of a 28.56 finish, but you do pick up one banana after the goal. Refer to the record strat.
I want the record!
The WR is 5812, 28.56 finish, 1 banana. Boost slightly left, then pull over slightly to the right, and finally left again. The trick is how to get a banana after the goal. This is accomplished by cutting the ribbon as far left as possible. If you do that, the spinning goal will hit you into the direction of the leftmost banana, and you will hopefully pick that up. Now this happens all the time with a 28.55 ending, at least 80% for me. On 28.56 endings, I get hit towards the banana, and stop about 1 pixel before it without picking it up. That is so annoying. I can�t help you for 5812, just try.
