ADVANCEDsix

General:
Lets face it, nobody likes A6. Its almost the same as B2, but there are 2 crucial differences: You fall down more (and therefore bounce higher), and there is no planter. Since there is no planter, the B2 strat wont work. Historically, Sucram held this record for ages (with a .31 finish). Actually I think the only reason it wasnt beaten right away is that nobody knew the strat, and a cool strat it is indeed. Packattack heard the strat from Sucram, eventually broke the record and recently posted the strat when somebody was asking for help on A6. Then I broke the record for a sweet .43 finish, but at the time you are reading this someone else might have improved that one too.

I want a consistent finish!
Erm, if you want to go through the regular goal wait until it has gone up and is coming down again, the roll in. If you want the other goal, just jump down straight, should be cake.

I want a good score!
Hmm, this is very tough. I cant expect everybody to do the WR strat since that is rather hard. My PR with the old chump strat was 31456 (57.28), and a good score would be 31440 I guess. Hold back, fall off to the side early, turn counter-clockwise, head for the goal and hope you get in. The further you jump back, the more likely you are to get in.

I want the record!
Note how there is this grey "rail" that goes all around the bottom goal platform. This rail is very low, but it does have an edge. And it is precicely that edge you need to bounce off. For notation, you face north in the beginning. Hold back, go off the ramp early, i.e. dont go over the very back of the ramp. As you fall down, turn counter-clockwise. Where do you want to land? You want to land at the very back (south) of the platform below, and you want to hit the front (north) edge of this grey rail that runs along the south edge of the platform. Ideally, you will get bounced towards the goal at high speed, Packattack nicely said that you get shot at the goal. Finally, as you are turning while falling down, how fast should you turn around? Well, on my 31486, I was facing somewhere between south-east and east as I hit the edge.

Current Record: 31486
Finish: 57.43
Bananas: 0

Difficulty rating for 31440:
3/5
