This is what
I started with. After investing $1000 in a former shell of a Super Sport,
I promptly bought two rust free doors for one of the Carolinas.
Extensive
rust was removed, and then replaced by steel and replacement panels.
Especially the rocker panels.
there was
also the need to make structural repairs. This fuzzy shot is of my toasted
T-tops.
Here we find
rusty door jambs. And my favorite GM option the T-floors. I
had the floors redone so that I might avoid pulling a Fred Flinstone.
She was stripped
down to bare steel and redone from there... Here she is in her etching
primer under things.
And here she
models her colour primer slip. If you ask me it looked really sweet
in a smooth coat of primer.
