CCYoshi: But now I'm back, to do a special Amazing Race fanfiction! It's called Amazing Race Turbo! We do away with those stupid Pit Stops, it's just a frantic race around someplace with no stops...except for plane rides. Let's introduce the teams. Last 5th birthday special, The Yoshi Stadium All-Something Baseball Game...I'll have to shorten that...one of the teams, The Other Guys, won the right to choose their partners for the race first. So...let's get them over here and selecting. Pikachu, you're first.
Pikachu: Pi! PIkapi! (Pichu! I choose you!)
CCYoshi: Old phrase. Pichu's been selected. Lessee, next...Tails?
Tails: Amy.
Syaoran: Of course...
Tails: *blush* Stop looking at me like that!
CCYoshi: Sonic?
Sonic: Hmm...umm...I don't like any of them!
CCYoshi: Then choose one.
Sonic: Oh...fine...I'll take...Mario.
Mario: Mama mia!
CCYoshi: Do I even need to ask, Sakura?
Sakura: Oh, you can figure this one out. Syaoran.
CCYoshi: Robotnik?
Robotnik: I'll take the other villain. Bowser.
CCYoshi: And...Jigglypuff.
Jigglypuff: Jiiig...jiggly...puff! (Umm...er...Peach!)
CCYoshi: Mario Morons, your team's next to choose. Luigi?
Luigi: Toad-a, I guess.
CY: Koopa Troopa?
K.T.: Paratroopa.
CY: And...the Goomba got squashed.
Yoshi: Yoshi think CY switch character.
CY: Yoshi think right. Yoshi is paired with Birdo, by default.
Yoshi: Wow!
CY: So, to sum it up, here's the teams.

CY: Anyway, the way Amazing Race Turbo works is, as previously said, there are no pitstops until the finish line- no breaks, no rest. Replacing the Pit Stops there will be Checkpoints, where you check in momentarily, then leave. The last team at a Checkpoint will be eliminated. There will peroidically be a Challenge, which is similar to a Roadblock. You must perform a task before you continue. Simple, right? Anyway, your first clue is waiting for you on top of your bags across this field. On go, you run to your bags...no, not that go, Bowser! When I say go, wait, not that one either Sonic!

CCYoshi: Teams must now travel a long ways by plane to the first in many sites I visit (the theme of this race)- GameFAQs. Here, they must find the information page of Mario Kart: Double Dash to find their next clue.
Tails: OK...right...where's an airport?
Sonic: Taxi!

Yoshi: Yoshi think taxi driver know where airport. Taxi!

Eventually, all the teams figure out how to get taxis, and leave. Well, almost.

Pikachu: (I don't think these taxis understand Pokemon...

CCYoshi: Bowser and Robotnik are on a rerouted flight to GameFAQs, scheduled to land at 4:40. K.T. and ParaT., Pikachu and Pichu, and Luigi and Toad are on the final flight to GameFAQs, scheduled to land at 5:30, a half hour after the other teams.

CCYoshi: This leg's challenge involves, naturally, racing. One person must play the game Mario Kart: Double Dash (yes, with a controller and Gamecube and all that), and complete 10 laps of everyone's favorite course, Rainbow Road. Once they do this, the ranking screen will reveal their next clue.
Tails: I'll do it.
Amy: OK.
Bowser: This is all...umm...line?
Robotnik: Yeah, yeah, no problem for me?
Tails and Robotnik grab a controller, fire up the system and start driving. Both, having piloted machines, are pretty good with the controls.
