Episode 23: Supersize Kirby
Yoshi stares at the invisible watch on his hand. "Sure is taking the thing-falling-from-the-sky a long time to, er, fall from the sky."
Zelda sticks her finger in her ear. "That high-pitched falling noise is getting annoying..."
Rounding out the randomness, Luigi runs around screaming, "THE SKY-A IS-A FALLING!"
And, then, finally, WHOP! A giant pink Kirby lands in the middle of the area.
Tails sweatdrops. "Wow...another...Kirby."
Wasting no time, Syaoran grabs a bomb block and flings it at giant Kirby, shouting *Take this!!*
The giant Kirby swallows the block, and gains the bomb ability. Would that be giant bomb Kirby, or bomb giant Kirby? That is the question...no it isn't.
*Well...that worked well.* Syaoran says sarcastically.
The giant bomb Kirby, as it shall be named, grabs a bomb from the invisible-pocket (where characters store their items, sure, right, whatever)...a giant bomb. Of course. It then tosses it up in midair, and dodges out of the way.
Tails stares up at the giant bomb. "Oooooh boy..."
Pichu says in a weak voice, "Pi chupi chuchu pipichu...(I suppose we should be like dodging or something...)"
*I would say this is the end, but it's only episode 23 and you don't end ANYTHING on an odd number. Unless it's a 5. Then maybe it'd be OK.*
Tails says dully, "Please stop breaking the fourth wall. It makes my head hurt."
"That bomb sure is getting some hang time," Yoshi comments.
*It's called slow-motion. It happens during at action scene, or perhaps a moment of peril or something. Everything slows to a crawl aaaaaaanddddd yooooooouuuu speeeeeeaaaaak liiiiiiiikkkeeeeee thiiiiiiiiis.* Syaoran explains, causing Tails to scream in pain again.
And yes, finally, the bomb does drop. BIG EXPLOSION NOISE!
"Piiiiiiiii chupiiiiii! (The shininess blinds!)" Pichu shouts.
*Right, but shouldn't this like, hurt or something?* Syaoran remarks at the same time.
Eventually the blinding shininess dissapears.
"We're not dead, yay!" Yoshi announces.
"You guys can thank me." Zelda winks. "Nayru's Love. Magic shields are great, no?"
Insert general agreement here.
Tails turns to giant bomb Kirby. "OK, now let's wail on giant bomb Kirby till he dies, only pausing occasional to heal our wounds!"
*Just like in the RPGs!*
The group charges toward giant bomb Kirby, who is sitting there stupidly.
Suddenly, Jigglypuff (who was separated from the group), jumps onto and clings to giant bomb Kirby, screaming, "JIIIIG! (STOP!)"
The groups follows instruction and screeches to a halt.
Tails says, "I would say something like Get out of the way, except that'd be too typical, so I'll let you explain your case first."
*Well, it's obvious that she's smitten with the Kirbies. They're pink, round, and overly cute, just like her.* Syaoran pauses, then screams *OK, that's IT! Some writer's going to get shot after this episode!*
Out of nowhere, there is a rumbling sound, and the ground gives way under giant Kirby and Jigglypuff, causing them to suddenly fall into the traditional infinite-hole abyss under every video game area. It is so sudden that they don't even have enough time to scream or, preferably, fly back up. Oops.
Yoshi says in a monotone voice, "That was...anticlimactic."
*Wait, this makes no sense.* Syaoran states sharply. *Giant Kirby probably weighs like a couple hundred pounds, and the infinitely small amount Jigglypuff adds causes the ground to give way? That's just stupid.*
"Must be a cheap way to kill off a character. Wait, how does that work? I think I'm getting a headache again..." Tails facepalms.
