Episode 21: Pink Pop Stars
The group of heroes, in a sudden change from the end of last episode, is walking toward the normal off-in-the-distance area.
*So, why exactly are we staying on boring grassy planet(tm) again? Normally there's nothing on boring grassy planets(tm) but evil plots to kill another character.* Syaoran asks.
"Right, but this is Pop Star, the Kirby planet, not a boring grassy planet(tm)." Tails counters. "All you gotta do is zoom the camera out a couple thousand times and there you have it! Pop star!"
"O...-aK...." Luigi sweatdrops.
Yoshi raises his hand. "Question: How all of a sudden did Tails and Amy rejoin the group anyway?"
The group turns to look at Amy, who seems lost in her own world. She doesn't respond.
*That's a nice question. However, I don't think we'll be getting the answer to that anytime soon. Blame it in a plothole.* Syaoran breaks the fourth wall again.
Zelda freezes. "Wait!"
The group stops and now turns to stare at Zelda, confused?
"Piiichu pi? (What is it?)" Pichu inquires.
�I sense an attack coming for no real reason at all�because nothing�s happened in the last 5 seconds��
5 minutes later�
�Just a little more��
Tails sighs. �Um, I think it�s safe to say that there�s no attacker lying in wait by now.�
Jigglypuff jokes, �Jigggly puffpuff jig jigglypuff. (I think you forgot to turn the Triforce of Wisdom on.)� The group laughs, and then, from the shadows, it pounces!, while forcing the author to use, lots, and lots, of commas!
�Fiiiyaaaa!�
Luigi whirls around at the sound of an very-badly-converted-to-text-Kirby-cry. He reflexively punches, and somehow his fist manages to meet Kirby�s face.
Kirby makes some more untextable noises while flying backward the way he came into a tree, making a soft �thop� sound.
*We waited 5 minutes for THAT?* Syaoran remarks.
Jigglypuff runs over to the injured Kirby.
�Jiggglypuff jigjig puff! (You hurt it!)� she squeals (in a bad way).
�Um-a, sorry?� Luigi shrugs.
Jigglypuff slaps Luigi. �It�s CUTE! You don�t hurt CUTE things!�
�Hey-a, it attack-aed me first�a!� Luigi retorts.
�Well, but, it,� Jigglypuff searches for a reply.
*Geez Jiggly, you sound like you�ve become smitted with the guy or something!*
�Do you always have to have some sarcastic romantic remark, Syaoran?� Tails asks.
*Yeah�sad what I�ve been reduced to, huh?* Syaoran dulls answers.
There are more unintelligible noises near the tree where Kirby fell. Suddenly, there are 15 more Kirby�all the same species, but different types.
They glance at the fallen ally, then at the group, then at Luigi still frozen in the punching pose. They grunt and make more noises that all sound like �Fiya�. Because that�s the closest text translation, that�s why.
�Oooooooops.-a.� Luigi stammers as the Kirby glare very hard at him.
�FIYAAAAAA!� the Kirby group screams, rushing Luigi and the others. I would imagine that means �ATTACK!�, but hey, do I look like a translator?
Quick, end the episode on a cliffhanger! Again!
