8 teams set off from GameFAQs on a trip to DDRManiaX...
CCYoshi: Teams must now drive to the airport and make their way a long string of web pages away by plane to this place- DDRManiaX, a large forum community with many tips on many things Dance Dance Revolution...and some not. They must find the home page, where they will recieve their next clue.
Some messed up right away...
Syaoran: Uh-oh...this isn't the airport...
Sakura: I thought that sign said airport!
Syaoran: Time to practice English fluency...*sigh*
While others...messed up right after that...
Sonic and Mario board the plane.
Sonic: Can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they learn we already took off!
Mario: Yeah!
Robotnik: They already took off?!
Tails: Yup!
Robotnik: AHAHaHAhAAHAHA!
Amy: What's so funny?
Robotnik: Our flight lands more than an hour earlier! HAHAHAHA!
The challenge was insanely evil, even by my standards...
CCYoshi: In this Challenge, teams must play a song from the popular rhythm game, Dance Dance Revolution. But of course, it's the hardest one, Legend of Max on Heavy mode (hardest difficulty)- a 300 beat-a-minute song that's among one of the hardest in the game. While teams are not required to clear the song, once they fail and their lifebar is empty, every step they miss will give them a penalty of 10 seconds. (Trivia: 573 steps- max penalty 1 hour 35.5 minutes) Once the song is complete, teams must wait out their penalty and then recieve their next clue. Of course, if they pass, there will be no penalty. Like that's going to happen...ha!
But even though Tails bombs the challenge, him and Amy still finish first by a landslide...

Eventually it turned into a waiting game, with four teams fighting elimination...

ParaT.: Well...it's all down to the waiting game...
Birdo: ...and running like a maniac.
After a bunch of sprinting, it came down to three teams diving for the finish...
All six of them dive for the mat seemingly at the same time, but CCYoshi knows better apparently...must be the invisible camera.
Luigi and Toad escaped sixth, and Koopa Troopa and Paratroopa barely avoided elimination again...
CCYoshi: Koopa Troopa and Paratroopa...

CCYoshi: Teams must now travel back to the airport and travel by airplane (duh) to Acmlm's ROM hack domain (we at Yoshi Stadium do not endorse illegal ROMs and such, blah blah blah), a hot place for hacking Mario games...and others. Once there, they must make their way to the message board located there, where they will recieve their next clue.
Amy: OK, more running around in circles, yay!
Tails: (RA) Do we take into account I told her in the main series?

Tails and Amy board the Mario Internetal plane. Bowser and Robotnik bully their way through the crowd, and the entry gate, and barely make it on the plane...without tickets. It takes off.

Yes, the Yoshi Air Flight, the later one, lands first. Wow. Well, the flight lands, and the five teams pour out of the plane...and realize that they're not in the right place.

Yoshi: Look, ACMLM Board sign!
Toad: ACMLM Board...this way.
Meanwhile, Sakura and Syaoran have already picked up a taxi.
Sakura: Take us to the ACMLM Board please!
Taxi Driver: Uh, what? Speak English.
Sakura: Uh, what? Could you say that in Japanese please?
Syaoran facepalms. He gets out of the taxi, and drags the driver to the sign.
Taxi Driver: ACMLM Board...this way. Right, so you want to go to this ACMLM Board?
Syaoran stares blankly at the driver.
Taxi Driver: Whatever! I'm going to hope so!
Finally the two go back to the car and take off.
While that was all happening...
Sonic extends his hand to Mario.
Sonic: Hold on!
Mario grabs on, and with that, the two are dashing off at really-fast-but-not-light-speed toward ACMLM Board.
Mario: Mama miaaaaaaa~
Luigi and Toad watch Sonic and Mario dissapear into the distance.
Luigi: It-a can't be-a that-a far away.
Toad: Follow them!
Luigi and Toad run as fast as their legs can carry them (not fast) toward ACMLM Board.
Koopa Troopa and Paratroopa slide/fly in their shells toward ACMLM Board, while Yoshi and Birdo grab a taxi and zoom off.

Sonic zooms past a green sign. Then, screeching to a halt, he goes back and reads it.
Sonic: ACMLM Board...5 miles ahead.
Mario: That's-a lot!
Sonic shrugs. No problem for the world's fastest hedgehog, eh? And then...they're off, again!

K.T. and ParaT. zoom past the sign without even stopping to look at it...mainly cause they're in their shells and can't see it. Luigi and Toad are hot on their heels.

CCYoshi: Teams must now head a short distance to the Mario World Hacking forum part of the ACMLM Board. Once there, they will find their next clue.
Sonic grabs Mario, who looks dazed, and continues running.

A taxi pulls up, grabs them, and zooms off.

Bowser: No, look, there! It says...ACMLM Board.
Robotnik: Yeah, and see the arrow? It says the board is OVER THERE!
Bowser: OK then, let's go!
Bowser then grabs a random pedestrian.
Bowser: Take us to the board or die!
Random Pedestrian: ...
Bowser: I SAID...
Robotnik: Uh, Bowser, I think you killed him.
Indeed, there are claw marks straight through his chest.
Robotnik: Next time, don't grab them so hard. Let me show you.
Robotnik grabs another random pedestrian, and puts one of those fancy-invention-weapon-thingies to his head.
Robotnik: Take us to the board, NOW!
Random Pedestrian 2: Uh, who are you?
Bowser roars.
RP2: OMG! You have Bowser with you! Take my car, please, but don't hurt me!
Robotnik and Bowser jump in their car and floor it.
Robotnik: How do you do it?
Bowser: Well, you forget, it's a Mario place...but then why is it called ACMLM?

CCYoshi: A Challenge is a task that only one team member can perform. In this Challenge, teams must search through a pile of topics for one of seven "Luigi's Adventure" topics. The topics are represented as little scrolls, each with a title on it. The task sounds easy, but when you take into consideration there are, at the time of writing, 1052 topics, it could take a long time. And um, no, there is no search engine. Once teams find the right topic, they must open it to receive their next clue.

Mario's head is still spinning.
Sonic: Umm...OK...I'll do it.
Sonic dives into the pile, grabbing handfuls at a time and tossing topics left and right.
Many, many topics later...
Sonic: I don't SEE any Luigi's Adventure...
Probably cause he's not slowing down enough to look carefully.

Yoshi: Challenge.
Birdo: You want to do it? Or should I?
Yoshi: Eh, Yoshi find Luigi fast.
Birdo: *giggles* Luigi's ADVENTURE!

Yoshi sits off to the side with a handful of topics, methodically searching through each one. It's a slow method, but this way he's sure he won't miss anything.
Just then, a pile of topics from Sonic fly into his pile.
Yoshi: Hey!
Just after a few minutes, Sakura and Syaoran pull up.
Syaoran: Challenge...you wanna do it, Sakura-chan?
Sakura: Sure!
Sakura looks at the humongous pile of topics. Her eyes bug out for a minute before Syaoran calls to her.
Syaoran: Sakura, heads up!
Sakura looks up and a topic flies into her face (again, rejected by Sonic). She peels it off and reads.
Sakura: Uh...um...how again am I supposed to read English?
Insert plothole here.
Sakura: Oh, it says Luigi's Adventure! HEY! SYAORAN! I got it!
Mario facepalms.
Birdo groans.
Sonic: Aargh!
Yoshi...continues searching.
Sakura runs over to Syaoran and shoves the topic in his face.
Syaoran: Wow, I guess you're so cute, the right topics just come to you!
Insert laughter here.
Sakura opens the clue/topic.
Sakura: Head to the checkpoint! Yay!

In contrast, Yoshi is still sitting in the corner with his little pile of clues, sorting them out.
Yoshi: No...no...Luigi's...no, not Adventure...no...
He tips backwards onto his back.
Yoshi: Yoshi take forever to find clue. Make Birdo sad.
Just then, Sonic unwittingly tosses another Luigi's Adventure clue...right into Yoshi's lap.
Yoshi: Yay! Yoshi get clue!
Sonic: AGAIN!?

As Yoshi runs to Birdo to read the clue, Tails and Amy pull up.
Tails: Challenge...who's doing it?

After Amy dashes happily into the pile of clues, Tails sighs.
Tails: Remind me why I ever thought I had a chance?

Amy and Tails read the clue.
Tails: Head to the Checkpoint!
They leave. Sonic continues searching, temper quickly rising.

He slides over to the pile of clues, and sorts through them like Yoshi did.

13 minutes and several hundred clues later, the 3 teams are going nowhere slow. (as opposed to nowhere fast)
Sonic is still diving through piles and piles of topics (while Mario sleeps in boredom), hoping that one that he tosses up will be the right one (and end up in his possession, not someone else's).
Luigi's pile of rejected topics has grown ridiculously huge, and he still just can't find that right topic.
Paratroopa is still checking through handfuls at a time...yet no topics, for any of the three, appear to be titled "Luigi's Adventure".
And then, the final team arrives...

The two trudge in very slowly.
Robotnik: ...told you we should have called a taxi.
Bowser: I thought...we did.
Robotnik: Yeah, but then...they, like...fled in fright.

Robotnik: Yes...idiot. So, Challenge...I'm doing it.
Bowser: ...have fun.
Robotnik moves over into the main pile and flops face first into it. He slides around on his belly, looking for the right topic.

25 minutes of tedious searching later...
Still, no clues.
Luigi's rejected pile has spilt into two, as the first one got too high. He pauses for a second, tips over backward, and sighs. His hand gropes around for another topic, hoping that the "it'll never happen to me" law works in your favor too.
Nope.
Paratroopa, tired of diving through piles, has now sat down and begun the Luigi method. It is failing miserably.
Robotnik has now sat up and is using some sort of sorting-device (what, stolen from the post office?) to find the right clue. Even though the sorting speed is much faster, the luck is not any better.
Sonic's head pops out from a deep pile of clues.
Sonic: OKAY! I @#&*(@#( GIVE UP! THIS #@$( CHALLENGE IS #@$()*@ IMPOSSIBLE!!!
Sonic continues to rant and steam over how long he's been at the stupid challenge and found squat (and helped 3 other teams).
However, no one is listening (thankfully).
Mario, Koopa Troopa, and Toad are still sound asleep.
Bowser's busy imagining plans to terrorize them.
And the other three are still sorting, of course.
Robotnik interrupts Sonic's (continuing) rant a couple minutes later.
Robotnik: Got it!
Sonic: $@#*()&$#@#$!
He grabs the topic out of the device and heads to the Checkpoint...then remembers to head back for Bowser. He grabs Bowser (now sound asleep on Mario's shoulder...awww) and drags him off.
Sonic is now majorly ticked off (gee, I guess saving the world puts a lots of stress on people...or is it that pink hedgehog following him around? we don't know). He is literally tearing through piles of topics, ripping to shreds all the wrong topics. Which, actually, isn't too bad a strategy, it improves the odds.
The teams sort for a couple more minutes, fruitlessly.
Paratroopa starts a second pile of rejected topics.
Luigi starts a third.
Sonic tears through about a hundred more topics in 5 minutes. He stops to catch his breath when he notices the title of the lone topic sitting on the floor in front of him.
Luigi's Adventure.
He picks it up and sighs in relief.
Sonic: About time!
He dashes over to Mario.
Sonic: Dude, wake up, we gotta go!
Mario: Wha? And-a...why-a does-a my shoulder-a hurt-a so-a much?
Sonic: No clue, but we gotta run!
Sonic grabs Mario, for (hopefully) the last time this leg, and dashes off toward the checkpoint.
Luigi and Paratroopa glare at each other.
Luigi: It's-a ON.
Paratroopa: Yup.

Paratroopa shuffles through a few more topics.
Mario's Adventure. Yeah, wait, no.
Adventure through time. Nope.
Luigi's Adventure. Nope...wait...
Paratroopa: Got it!
Luigi pauses for a moment, tempted to just give up, but continues sorting.
Paratroopa flies over to Koopa Troopa, and they dash as fast as their shells can carry them to the Checkpoint.
Toad: Come on, Luigi!
Luigi: I'm-a trying...
Luigi reaches the 1052nd topic, the last one on the floor.
Luigi: This-a got to-a be-a it...
It is. And thus ends Luigi's Adventure for Luigi's Adventure.
They run off, hot on the heels of the Troopas. And perhaps, Bowser and Robotnik.

Tada, identity revealed!
CCYoshi: Koopa Troopa and Paratroopa...you're team number six!
K.T.: Yeah! We're still in it!
Paratroopa: Barely, again...
