| Well, I took a few pics of my new cam. These pictures were taken with an Intel cs110. My main man Fred Durst has stepped in again to give you guys an idea of how big the camera is. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| As you can see, this camera is around 2.5 times the height of Fred here. What you don't see is the stack of bricks behing the camera holding it up. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Oh happy day! To my suprise, this camera came with a tripod. Not exactly ideal for filming at minifig height, but I'm sure something can be rigged up. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Here we can see Fred trying out the live view feature. The screen is 1.4" Color LCD display. From here, a record button on the back can be hit, allowing up to 1.5 minutes of video in .avi format with the internal memory. For a still shot, a buttom located on top of the camera operates the shutter, taking a picture. Unfortunatly due to lack of a flash, quite a bit of light is needed indoors. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Here is a picture taken with the DV camera. it was origionally taken at a res. of 1280x1024, which I shrank to 320x240. The quality appears a little sharper aswell as a little darker. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| This camera has three modes: Digital Video Recorder, Digital Still Camera, and Digital Voice Recorder. Let me just say that the microphone on this camera SUCKS! Very poor quality. Video is recorded at 10 fps at 320x240. Not too choppy, but not exactly smooth as silk. Stills can be taken either at 640x480 (around 50), 1280x1024 (around 12), or 1600x1200 (around 10). Of course, with a high capacity memory card, more can be saved. All video, stills, and audio can easily be uploaded to pc. Another feature I liked about this camera is that it can be hooked up to the television via A/V cables included. To power the camera, two "AA" batteries are required, so I might need to invest in some rechargable batteries. To top it all off, it even works with SMA! I paid $100 U.S. at my local Circuit City. In my opinion, a pretty good camera for the price. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
