| The Mystery of Keisha Love |
| Is this young woman a member of the Love family? No one will say for sure. All we do know about Keisha is that she is from a small, middle class family. Growing up, she had an early appreciation for dance and studied jazz, tap, and ballet. She was a quick study and wowed many with her skills, including her childhood friends, Tiffany Lane and Nina Larue. After leaving high school, Tiffany and Nina became wrestlers and formed a tag team called The Babe Squad, in the Freedom Wrestling Organization, and asked Keisha to join them. They started a troupe of dancers called The Babe Squad Dancers (think: Nitro Girls) and appointed Keisha as the troupe's leader. She was thrilled. Not only was she getting the chance to dance before a national audience but she was also getting the chance to do so in a wrestling organization. Wrestling had long been one of Keisha's favorite sports and one of her childhood dreams was to be a pro wrestler. Tiffany and Nina soon learned of her desire and urged her to follow her dream. Keisha took them up on their offer. She enrolled in wrestling school and was trained by "Alluring" Arielle Starr. Arielle was so impressed with Keisha's ability that she helped her earn a spot with the LPWL. Keisha remained undefeated, taking on all comers. Soon, however, the LPWL sadly folded. With no form of income and stuck without a way to pay her college tuition or bills, Keisha needed cash fast. Her friend, Holly Hotbody, suggested that she try out as an exotic dancer. Holly had been doing it for some time and was making quite a comfortable living. At first, Keisha scoffed at the idea until the bills continued to pile. Without a second thought, she joined Holly and adopted the stage name "Kristy Kreme". Keisha also joined Holly in the Wildcats wrestling promotion, the two women tagging together as the Sex Kittens. But that stint didn't last long either as Wildcats closed before they had their first wrestling match. Devoting her time to school, Keisha eventually graduated with a degree in business administration. After completing school, she quickly quit her job as a dancer, finding employment with a computer company. So, is this woman a member of the Love family? Well, no one knows for sure. But there has to be a connection. After all, she not only shares their last name but also shares their wrestling ability. Not to mention a bond with Holly. I guess time will tell just how this young woman fits in the puzzle. |
