Welcome to the [Bleep]in' Website
by Lara Leigh Love
So, the Love Family website is finally up and the webmaster says that he needs someone to write the first column. Of course, all of my freakin' cousins are busy, leaving me to do the dirty work. Yeah, like I don't have anything better to do than sit in front of this [Bleep]in' computer and write something for the [Bleep]in' fans! Anyway, I guess it's kinda nice to have a website devoted to my family, considering we're the toughest bitches that ever stepped foot in a wrestling ring. Seriously, there ain't no other wrestler that can compare to a Love. Even that whore, Holly, can pretty much handle herself in the ring.

I think it's the way that we were raised. Each of us may have different parents but there was one main rule that the Love family followed: women could do anything that men could do, sometimes even better. I think that was instilled in the family by our grandmother, Beth Ann. She was a former boxer and bounty hunter. And you thought I was hardcore, huh!?! Grandma would always take us aside and remind us that we were strong women, capable of doing anything that we wanted.

When I'm reminded of her words, I can't help but think of my own career in the ring. From the start, it was a struggle to get respect. I might have had a famous last name and been trained by one of the best wrestlers out there but the guys in the back didn't see that. All they saw was another pair of tits taking their airtime. In fact, many of them refused to work with me, especially in my first federation, the SEWA. See, the brass there hired me to fight the men, sorta like Chyna only better. But most of the morons refused to do it. They pissed and moaned about having to lose to a girl. Like any of this [Bleep] is real!?! Without any opponents for me, I was afraid the SEWA would fire me. That's when Andy Madison stepped in.

Just like my grandma, Andy believed in me. He wasn't like the other guys in the back either. He recognized my talent and all that I brought to the sport. He lobbied for me and the SEWA eventually created a women's title and brought in some girls for me to feud with. And it paid off. Because, when those guys finally got a look at what me and the other chicks could do, in that ring, we earned nothing but their respect. It's always tough for women in this industry. They're always looked at as less than their male counterparts. That's why it takes a special woman to weather that and make a success of herself, despite the opposition. It takes a Love.

Anyway, my fingers are cramped now and I'm tired of typing. I will admit that this wasn't too bad. Maybe next time I can tell you some of the behind the scenes stuff going on in the IGA. Til then, I'm out.
