| Leanna Love is the older sister of "The Seductress" Holly Hotbody and "America's Sweetheart" Lolita Love. Leanna's father was a high ranking military official and raised Leanna alone after the death of his wife. Leanna's father was a strict disciplinarian and taught his daughter that she could achieve anything that she wanted with the tools at her disposal. At a young age, she became interested in the martial arts. Her father encouraged her and she excelled, winning many martial arts tournaments and competitions. But Leanna's passion had always been professional wrestling. She grew up admiring the womens wrestlers of her day and dreamed of joining their ranks. After graduating high school, Leanna decided to pursue her dream and entered wrestling school. After training with some of the best in the business, Leanna debuted in the OLW promotion. Targeting the OLW's fan favorites, Leanna soon became the most hated woman on the federation's roster. During her time in the OLW, she married Rick Sanchez, the ex-husband of her arch rival, the popular Kitty Sanchez. Together, Leanna and Rick schemed to take custody of the children that Kitty and Rick shared. She terrorized the OLW until the untimely death of her father. When her father died, Leanna decided to take a short break from the squared circle. It was then that her husband was involved in a car accident that left him a vegetable. Distraught by her recent losses and tragedies, Leanna threw herself into her work and joined the IFWF. But this was a different Leanna Love. Her recent problems had caused the former villianess to reform and she began to compete as a face. It was in the IFWF that she met and befriended Wendy Jones and joined her stable The Foundation, a group of disenfranchised faces. Leanna stayed with the IFWF until the promotion closed its doors. During this time, Leanna's husband passed away. After grieving her loss, Leanna returned to a reopened IFWF. She became their first ever International champion. But, to her dismay, the IFWF had changed. It had become a league full of catfights, sex battles, and exploitation. After continuing to watch the degradation of women for too long, Leanna quit the fed in disgust, tossing her championship belt in the trash. It was then that Leanna worked as a trainer, helping train her younger sister, Lolita, for the squared circle. Then Leanna joined the newly reopened ESWP. One of only two women on the roster, Leanna felt that the ESWP wasn't giving their women's division the respect that it deserved. She staged protests and demonstrations until the fed opened a legitimate women's division. Sadly, the fed closed shortly after that. Leanna spent time as a personal trainer and exercise guru before returning to the squared circle, joining her sister in the MBC. In the MBC, Leanna eventually won the Thighmaster (MBC's version of the women's championship). During this time, she helped form the Riot Grrls stable with Nina Grimsson, Alexandria Parker, and Lilith D'Angelo. The four women pledged to take over the MBC and create a positive image for women in wrestling. This brought them into a feud with the women of the Faction stable. Also, Leanna did something unheard of. She trashed the Thighmaster, claiming that it wasn't a true representation of a championship, and instead petitioned for a true championship belt. The powers that be granted her wish and Leanna was awarded a belt. But she didn't get to enjoy it for long as she dropped the strap to the Faction's own Comedy. But Leanna and the Riot Grrls weren't down for long. Weeks later, she and Grimsson won the Psychodriver tag titles, titles that they held until the fed's closing. |
