| Like Soap Operas? Then, you're in for a treat because here, for the first time, is a history of the Love family. Well, not the entire family. After all, this website is only but so big. But I am going to give you the scoop on the five women that are currently gracing the squared circle and just how they are related to one another. First, there's the oldest of the Love women, Leanna. Leanna is the daughter of Randolph Love and Miriam Branson. Miriam died shortly after the birth of her only daughter, leaving Randolph to raise Leanna on his own. A captain in the army, Randolph travelled the world, dragging Leanna along with him. During his travels, he met Carmen Delgado, a former adult entertainer. Washed-up, Carmen was unemployed when she met Randolph. Seeing dollar signs, she immediately hooked her claws into him. Leanna hated the new woman in her father's life but he was enthralled. After all, while Carmen wasn't exactly stripper material anymore, she was still quite the head-turner. They continued to date until Carmen became pregnant with their daughter, Holly. After Carmen delivered, she and Randolph planned to tie the knot. But it never happened because Carmen just couldn't remain faithful. Randolph called off the wedding and broke off the relationship. Upset that Randolph could so easily discard of her, Carmen took Holly and moved, vowing that he would never see his daughter again. During this time, Randolph's younger sister, Dinah, was starting her own family. A high school drop-out, Dinah married her high school boyfriend, Robert "Bobby" Blake. Neither had an education or a stable means to support themselves but they had lots of love. In fact, 10 kids were the product of that love, including their second to youngest daughter, Tawny. While his sister was living it up in the trailer park, with her rather large family, Randolph was entering a depression. Sure, he had his loving daughter, Leanna. But he no longer had Carmen or Holly in his life. Not to mention the death of Miriam still haunted him. He spent years depressed, wondering why his luck was so bad. During this time, he met an old lover, Caroline Crichton, while visting Europe. Caroline was married but there were still sparks between them. Before either could stop things, they were making love. Afterwards, both promised to keep things a secret, especially when Caroline discovered that she was pregnant with Randolph's child. Randolph's brother, Mark, was also having a bit of a problem. See, he and his wife, Kelly, had just become the parents of a young daughter, Lara Leigh. Problem? She was hell on wheels. Even at an early age, Lara Leigh was terrorizing those around her, from teachers to peers. And it only got worse as she matured. Her parents tried to discipline her but nothing worked. The girl was wild. So, it was no surprise that she would leave home at sixteen. And even less surprising that her parents didn't bother to try to find her. While Lara Leigh was living it up with various gangs and performing petty crimes, Tawny was growing restless. She hated being poor and knew that there was something better for her out there. So, with one hundred dollars in her pocket, she left the trailer park, never returning again. While her cousins were dealing with their own issues, Leanna was dealing with loss: the death of her father. Deciding to throw herself into her job as a wrestler, Leanna reacquainted herself with a young girl named Lolita. Lolita was a fellow wrestler and a friend of the family, being the daughter of her father's old friend Caroline Crichton. I think we all know where this is going, right? Well, Caroline noticed the bond between the two girls and took Leanna aside, telling her the truth. Lolita was Leanna's half-sister, the product of Caroline's affair with Leanna's father! The two women agreed to keep Lolita's true parentage a secret until Lolita overheard a conversation between them. Lolita forced a confession from her mother and was rocked by the reveal. While she eventually forgave her mother, Lolita moved from her family's home, forsaking their wealth. She started a new life in New York, taking her birth father's last name. |
