Promote Your Links On Other Websites
Promoting your links on other peoples websites is another great way to get exposure. For the most part you pay a one time fee for a month of exposure, which can make your advertising dollars work hard for you.
There are many different avenues and niches available when using other peoples websites. Once you get the hang of it I advise you to do some research. Many times you can find websites who get great exposure, but don't charge a lot for advertising space. You can do this by searching keywords which relate to the website you are promoting. Then click on the ads which are not sponsored (see Fig 1a below) and see if they have advertising available. Hint: you want these sites to at least get 100,000 hits per month!
Sometimes you might need special banners to promote on some of these sites, so
you need to contact the site you will be promoting and ask them to provide you
with what you need. Some of these sites will ask for the Company Name
- just put in your personal name. Here is a list of websites I used to promote
