Oh how I hate this man. Let me count the ways. One one thousand, two one thousand. First of all let me start out by saying that if you didn't hear about this previously, don't shoot the messenger. A few weeks ago, after a similar statement by the Pope(whoop-di-freakin-do), Bush made said that he believed that even though we should be tolerant of differing ideas and morals, that he thought that marriage should be defined as the union of a man and a woman and that he had the white house lawyers putting together a bill to that affect. For those of you that don't understand what that means, it means that he is trying to make a law that makes same sex marriages illegal. I think this is not just a gross violation of the separation between church and state, but an entirely stupid thing to do anyway. Many states already have such laws in effect. I am not sure on the exact number but I know that Ohio(because that is where I am) does not have a law. A priest in Cincinnati was expelled from his church by the cardinal of the area for preforming same sex marriages some months ago. I think that the marriages of same sex couples does not hurt anyone so why should they be stopped. I think only the hardcore christians will try and push that law into effect. But that is not the only reason I hate Bush. For one, he makes up words. We have all heard them at one time or another. Strategery being my favorite. And I am still angry about the fact that Bush had LESS votes from the people than Gore did. MORE people voted for Gore. And yet Bush still won fair and square. Because it doesn't matter if someone wins a state by 51%-49% or 99%-1%, they still get all of the states electoral vote. So on the states that Gore did win, he was winning be a significant magin, while Bush won his states by close calls. And I am sorry to say that Ohio did go republican in that election, DAMN YOU H. R. PUFFINSTUFF, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL. YOU AND YOUR ASSLESS CHAPS AS WELL. Whoa, lost my cool there for a minute. And have we seen any of these weapons of mass destruction he was talking about when he decided to invade Iraq? Oh I forgot, those documents were false that said they were buying plutonium from South Africa. Silly Bush, Trix are for kids. And yet he has a high approval rating! I will never understand the minds of the stupid. |
