The Changing 20s: Were they a Roaring good time, or just plain boring?
Historical Context: The 1920s have commonly been referred to as an exciting time period in American history.  There were a number of changing influences as Americans strove to forget about the war years, and return to "normalacy."  Many people are familiar with the term the "Roaring 20s!"  However, it is our job as historian to investigate and evaluate history for ourselves to draw our own conclusions.
Your Task: Your group is to work together to analyze the changes of the 1920s and then conclude whether the 1920s were more roaring or boring.  Was it truly the "Roaring Twenties" or do you feel a better description could be the "Boring Twenties?" You and your group members will each be assigned a role.  Your responsibilities will be to research your given area as defined in the Roles Section of the webpage.  Your final project will then be to present an answer to the assigned question from your group's perspective.  You must answer this by creating a PowerPoint presentation defending your position, which will then be viewed and evaluated by the other U.S. classes.
