This year I will be FUNDRAISING & PARTICIPATING in a third Event for Cancer! Because Cancer has affected many of my family members and a few of my
very close friends & their families, I have choosen to CREW for three events to help
raise AWARENESS and monies for RESEARCH & PATIENT CARE for
PRINCESS MARGARET HOSPITAL and THE OTTAWA REGIONAL CANCER
FOUNDATION!
It is with PRIDE, DETERMINATION & HOPE, that I have decided to take my place
amongst the throng to help make this world free of CANCER!!!!!!!!

The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a unique, two-day cycling event to take place June 20-22, 2008. During this bold cycling journey, you will ride over 200k from Toronto to Niagara Falls! The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a brand new endeavour to do just that�conquer cancer. The funds you raise through The Ride to Conquer Cancer will deliver breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at The Princess Margaret, Canada�s leading cancer research hospital. Funding will go towards high content clinical trials such as the world class tumor bank, an advanced molecular profiling laboratory, and a drug development program. The Princess Margaret will also be able to put funds to work for other programs like cancer stem cell, cancer metabolism and microenvironment, immunotherapy, lung cancer, and prostate cancer programs. The results are real and tangible at The Princess Margaret. Be a part of this history of conquering cancer.
The need for new cancer treatments and prevention methods is great. That�s why each participant must raise at least $2,500 in order to ride. You may have never raised that much money before, but don�t worry. We�ve helped thousands of people raise more than $100 million for cancer causes, and we�ll be here to help you every step of the way. Once you sign up for The Ride, you�ll receive a Ride Manual where you�ll learn how to ask for donations and how to keep track of your fundraising progress. You�ll also have your own webpage on http://www.conquercancer.ca/ where you can post your photo, tell your story, and then email the link to the page to your donors so they can donate straight to you online! Once you are a Rider, we�ll give you all the tools you need and we�ll be there for you the whole way. That�s our promise.
