IN LOVING MEMORY OF DANIEL DALE MANN November 18, 1943 - February 18, 2000 This page is dedicated to my brother-in-law, Daniel Dale Mann, who lost his valiant battle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia on February 18, 2000. Dan's illness was diagnosed on July 4, 1999. He fought his illness, valiantly, without a complaint, until he could fight no more. Dan was a kind, gentle and loving man, who lived his life for his wife, Jackie, and his family, only asking to be LOVED, and to be allowed to give his LOVE! Together, Jackie and I have composed this page in hopes that those who read it, who knew Dan, and those who did not, will join us in our celebration of his life! Dan may be gone in body, but HE LIVES FOREVER in our Hearts and our Memories! He is now a FREE SPIRIT! We are here today to say good-bye to a Husband, Father, Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, Grandfather, Son, and Friend! Dan always said that the last 5 years were the best years of his life. He found something with Jackie that he had not had in the past. When he became a Grandfather, he was the happiest man around. He had always said that his daughter, Ginger, made him proud. He also became a very proud man when he took on 2 younger children, Mitchell and Samantha. He said that they made him stay young and active. Jason and Ashleigh also brought joy to his life. God knew what he was doing when he made Dan. No matter what the challenge, he knew Dan could handle it. God knew that he had a big job for him in his life. God gave him 5 children to raise, and he did a very good job of it. He saw that Ginger graduated and went on to college to further her education. Jason, Ashleigh, Mitchell and Samantha also are attending school , which made him very proud. He raised his children to be strong and independent. He taught us how to raise our own families. He taught his children everything he knew. Dan also taught us to always be there for each other, and for our friends, like he always was. He never said "No" to anyone who asked him to help with something. Dan was always positive, he looked for the good in people, no matter what the situation. Jesus was a carpenter, and so was Dan. All of Dan's knowledge about life will live on. Dan touched many minds and hearts over the years. Every day, in some small way, Dan will always be remembered by those of us who loved him. As the days go on we will take a moment and think to ourselves, "Dan always said that" or "Dan taught me this." Dan did his job well here on Earth, and now it's time for him to rest. Dan may be gone in body, but HE WILL LIVE FOREVER in our Hearts, and in the beautiful Memories he left behind. REST IN PEACE DEAR, DAN! WE LOVE YOU! Good-bye my Beloved Husband Dan, Father, Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, Grandfather, Son, and Best Friend! Sadly Missed February 18, 2000 CLICK HERE TO RETURN TO HOME PAGE |
