| i close my eyes, a deep breath takes away all thought. i feel comfortably warm i feel safe, no cares. i feel the charged air around me and it begins to spin. i'm in the eye of a tornado i lift up from the ground yet i remain calm. there's the whole world at my feet the universe envelopes me and i belong. the freedom exhilarates, i'm weightless, and i'm safe in my cocoon. this is how i feel when i look into your eyes over mundane lunch. we share our little stories we just talk we get our dessert. time chugs on it begins to rain and nothing matters. do you feel the same way? do you feel the world expand and close in as we breathe. hush, hush, don't break the spell just yet. allow us to rest in each other for now... to A, in remembrance of private moments 19jun04, 0947h, dvo |
