United We Stand suspended by disguised pride, i�m sinking inside. since when were we all free? when everyone in charge is for sale. i watch the highest bidder at the auction block decide whether i get to share the keys to certain locks. so let�s ask, what�s the going rate for the government to create a unified state that is suddenly blind, deaf, and as always dumb masses divided into disperse economic classes, unaware of the second hand deaths we subjugate. returning refugees to refuse and waste, where they�ll wait to be saved, not by fate, but by the caring arms of the united states and we�ll believe them to hope and we�ll leave them to die - no economic interest that�s why. because we never go and we never cum as excitement can only be found down the barrel of a gun or the green of a dollar bill sticky and young. so if you don�t got it, we don�t care. we call it capitalism, we call it fair. and if you can�t make it here, your price tag is too low, a worthless commodity, especially if you are gay, brown & female, can�t tip their scale. what we know, where does it go, sucked into the vortex of the land of the free, where they got laws that say I can�t be. so United We Stand, but we still ain�t brave when our society is afraid of differences, resistant to change, infected by the diseases of ignorance. the only thing we are ever united by is hate and for the first time in decades the enemy is out of the state. yeah, so United We Stand because we are told, like wide-eyed does, caught in the patriotic headlights of some back-woods pick-up truck filled with war bonds and televised smart bombs. so fly your flag, sing your song anything to keep from knowing what is really wrong. |
