Pilot: My review on the first episode.It was really better than what I thought it was going to be. One of my friends sent me a tape of it. It wasnt bad at all. Infact it was good. It wont win any awards but it is still good, it will be like Buffy. With good acting and good adult storylines and wont be acknowledged for being a teenshow. With that said heres the review.I wont give away everything though. Spoilers galore...

It opens in the past with meteors crashing down to earth. Ma and Pa Kent are in a store with. Ma Kent talks to a little girl. When they leave she confesses to how bad she wants a child. Then that's when all hell breaks loose with meteors crashing into earth, buildings, cars, or anything thats in it's way for that fact. We see a young Lex Luthor which is how he looses his hair. Ma nad Pa Kent's truck falls over and we see the little three year old Clark emerge. We see his little feet first then his body. Ma and Pa Kent think about it for a minute and note minute and they keep him and raise him as theirs.

2001-Smallville has a rep for the meteroite capital of the world on a big sign to let us know that all that just happened will never be forgotten. So when people find out about him in future episodes will be like it was you during that meteor shower, Then we meet the smalll town of Smallville which is like any other small town that si stuck in the past.It doesnt seem to be like popular small towns like in other movies or television shows but like Sunnydalee of Buffy, Clark is shown with his dad and he wants to try out for the football team but his dad says that he might hurt somebody seriously. So that pisses him off. Not only does this hurt him but when he misses his bus makes him a little bit more pissed.Here is the first major Clark power when we see him cut through a corn feild. Btu it is very cool. On the bus we meet Pete one of Clark's friends and Chole. They are a little amazed to see Clark their when they arrive since he did mss the bus.

Here we see Smallville high. It is like any normal high school. Not like on television shows were they have the popular crowd over their and the geeks over here. But it is strange cause Clark's click isnt really based on nerds like others might think. Yeah they arent popular but they arent on the get picked on list either. We see the teen queen make her debut and is sure to have alot of shippers out their forget about Lois. Lana Lang is here and Pete dares him to go up to her and work his magic. I think Chole has a crush on Clark cause she reminds me of Willow from Buffy. Clark goes up to her and feels week in the knees because she is wearing a necklace made out of kryptonite which will be made into a real necklace that everyone can buy sooner or later. But he acts like any geek. What made me laugh about this scene was that I was thinking about on south park when Kyle talks to Wendy he throws up type.But she mentions something about superman, but not the Clark one.

Clark is in class da dreaming about playing foot ball and is the common teenager when he day dreams about Lana. He even spies on her with a telescope at night. But really isnt the pervert you think cause who wouldn spy on someone that cute? The next day Clark is hit by a car being driven by Lex Luthor now a bald guy. He and the car go over the bridge and under the water. Clark saves Lex. A little later with the paramedics Lex offers his gratitude and all. He offers him a truck but Pa says take it back. Anyway, Lana has the jock boyfriend who doesnt like Clark and all.

In a great scene about Clark wanting to be normal is great. He tells Pa he wants to be normal and how he is not. He sticks his arm into a blender. Comes out with a stratch. Pa shows him a card with Kryptonian writing and tells Claark that it isnt from this earth. Clark laughs and is like "Are you trying to say I'm a alien?" Pa doesnt laugh. He takes Clark to the Spaceship he landed on earth in. And Clark is upset and flees.

Chole shows hm newspaper clippings about the meteor shower on when he came to earth. He goes to the graveyard where he bumps into Lana. They talk in a very emotional scene which explains that her parents were killed in the meteor shower. Clark feels bad. But guess who's looking from afar the jealous boyfriend. He stes out to get Clark a little later. And he makes Clark look wimpy because Lana let him wear the necklace with the kryptonite on it and he strips Clark and hangs him like christ. But Lex saves him.

Alittle later we meet the main villian of probably season one. He is Scarecrow. He was changed into a mutant due to the meteor shower. Clark apoligizes. But the Scarecrow wants to fight and they do. The fight is ok even though some of Clark's facial expressions are funny when they arent supposed to be meant to. Scarecrow has some control over electricity. He starts a car and flees.

So now Clark is pissed with the boyfriend and stacks his and one of the boyfriends car ontop of one another. Demonstrating his powers. Again with the silly faces. Roll creadits.

It was really good.
