Forum Rules [Go
to Forum]
Language
3. Please watch how you talk. You may cuss occasionally, but repeated
use of the words will lead to being banned from the forum.
4. You MAY NOT call any member, administrator, or character a foul
name. There will be no character bashing of that sort. Please, if you
can't say something nice about some one, don't say anything at all!!
Topics
5. Don't open threads that are already open. If you accidentally
reopen a topic, its ok. Try to reopen the former topic and post what
you were going to say there.
I will eventually delete the old topic, if you have re posted it on
the first thread or not.
6. When you post a new topic, make sure you stay on topic to the board
name. example: don't start a topic about Tom Welling on the Kristin
Kreuk board.
7. topics that are open for a long time without many replies will be
closed eventually. so start topics that interest people.
Characters/actors
8. there will be NO character bashing. If you have a problem with
someone, you may post it on the 'Random Rantings' board, but keep it
to a minimum--if it gets out of hand I will have to close it or
POSSIBLY ban you.
9. there will be NO polls between 2 characters. No picking sides. But
there maybe polls between 3 or more people.
Guests/validating
10. members that do not register to the board or are not logged in are
considered as 'guests'.

character bashing. Each member only gets 2 warnings and on their 3rd
one, they are banned.
15. banned members are not allowed to read, reply, start, or upload
anything on the forum.
16. also, posting to many topics on the wrong thread will lead to
being banned.
Keepers Rules [Go
to Keepers]
17. Try to think of
something that you would like to own off the show, like something you
would ask an actor to autograph and give to you. These things include,
family pictures lying around the house, or Clark's permission slip for
football, or one of Clark's plaid shirts. But that doesn't apply for
all objects, because you can't 'keep' an actual character in real
life, but you can on the keepers list. Nor can you keep their
hairstyle in a particular episode or their laugh, etc. These items are
intangible and are only "kept" as "keepsakes" on the "keepers" lists
(so if I say any of those words, you will now know what I'm talking
about.)
18. You may only keep a MAX of 20 things per category. Example: you
may keep 20 things of Clark, 20 things from Lex, 20 from Lana...etc.
If you go over 20, items 21-the rest will be deleted and up for grabs
by anyone else, if they want it.
19. Administrators and moderators do not have a maximum number of
items they are able to keep. We can keep up to 400 items in one
category for goodness sakes!!!
20. This is "finders keepers", whoever claims something first, gets
it. If you claim 21 things, the 21st one will be deleted (by the
moderators) and someone else can snag it.
21. You can only keep one character, that is INCLUDED as one of the 20
things you are allowed to keep in one category. Example: you can keep
the character Lionel Luthor, and you may keep only 19 other things in
that category.
22. You are NOT allowed to keep the actual ACTOR/ACTRESS themselves,
only their character and their character's possessions. Example: You
may not say that you want to keep "Kristin Kreuk, and her hairstyle on
a particular day" but you are allowed to say that you want to keep
"Lana Lang and her hair style in a particular scene/episode."
23. In the categories 'Miscellaneous' and 'Quotes' you are allowed to
keep as many things as you wish. But if one member gets out of control
and claims everything thing they see and don't let other members have
a chance to keep anything then I will make it only 20 items for those
categories as well.
24. In the category 'Episodes', you may only enter 10 actual episode.
(Again, Administrators are allowed to keep as many as they wish). But,
however, you are allowed to claim as many episode commentaries or
deleted scenes, etc. Example: you may claim "Red, Red Commentary with
AL and Miles, Red commentary with Tom, Kristin, Michael, Beeman,
Talisman Deleted Scenes, and 6 other ACTUAL episodes." (to equal 10
keepsakes)
25. If you claim something but you have it in the wrong category, I
will tell you and move/or delete your post and you have 1 WEEK (i
changed it, it was a month b4) to switch to the right category.
26. In the categories that have two people in them like the Martha and
Jonathan Kent category or the Pete Ross and Whitney Fordman category,
you are allowed still only allowed to keep 20 items.
27. Members of Smallville's Talon the MSN group have 30 days to
reclaim all of their keepsakes before it is up for grabs for everyone
else.
28. When claiming an object, write down what number keepsake it is
that you are claiming, example:
I claim...1. this 2. this 3. this.
THEN IF I GO AWAY AND COME BACK A DAY LATER AND WANT TO CLAIM
SOMETHING I WOULD GO LIKE THIS
....i forgot to mention 4. that 5. that 6. that
You don't actually have to write it "I claim"....and..."i forgot to
mention". It doesn't matter how you put it. I, personally, go..."For
now I clam"....and then returning I say..."I would also like to claim"
29. This is a BIGGIE!!! You are not allowed to claim an object in a
different category that has already been claimed. Example: Someone
might have claimed Lex Luthor, the actual character, but you are not
allowed to go on the Lionel Luthor Keepers list and say that you want
to claim "his son" or "Lex" because Lex has already been claimed.
30. If you claim something that is already being kept by another
member, or is on hold by a member at Smallville's Talon homepage, I
will edit/delete your requested keepsakes and write on your post that
it has already been claimed. Example: You claim 1. this 2. this. 3.
this 4. that
"that" HAS ALREADY BEEN CLAIMED BY A MEMBER SO I WILL EDIT YOUR POST
TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THIS
You claim 1. this 2. this 3. this 4.---object already claimed--- and
then renumber all of your items after that so it doesn't say you have
20 when you really only have 19.
31. You MAY NOT claim and item BEFORE the SCENE that it FIRST appears
in is aired. Example: If you see an outfit in the trailer for next
week's episode that you like, you can't claim that outfit until it is
actually worn on the show. Until that very scene is aired.
32. In addition to rule 15, you MAY NOT claim an EPISODE until AFTER
the episode is COMPLETELY OVER. Example: if the episode hasn't aired
yet, or even if there is 10 minutes left for the episode to end, you
CANNOT claim it. You have to wait for the episode to be completely
over with.
33. you MAY NOT EDIT your posts to claim more stuff. The ONLY time you
can edit your post is if you have numbered wrong or no one has posted
after you yet and you would like to claim a few more things. If you
want to add another keepsakes do not edit your post after someone
after you has already claimed an object, you have to post a new one.
Roleplaying Rules
[Go
to Roleplaying]
34. Choose a
character. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. The first person to sign up for a
character becomes that person so If you want to become a main
character you have to do it fast.
35. People who want to be a main character like Clark, Lana, or Lex...ect,
have to apply. Fill out the "Main Character RP Application" if you
DON'T apply you can be banned from the forum.
36. You can have up to 3 characters.
Once you have your characters, add them to the "RP Characters" list so
people know not to choose them.
37. You can only have 1 REAL character from the show. Doesn't have to
be a main character. For example: You can't be Clark Kent and Dr.
Bryce and your made up character. But you can be Clark Kent, and 2
made up characters.
38. Characters no longer on the show or guest stars are allowed to be
played (such as Pete or Jesse [Red]
39. If you makeup a character, they can only have ONE superpower (if
you want them to have superpowers in the first place)
40. If you are using a character already on the show, you have to
stick with there powers, except you can give Clark more powers. For
Example: People like Lex, Lana, or Chloe can't have powers unless they
get in an "accident" but it will only be TEMPORARY.
41. If you are playing Clark you can only give him a max of 3 more
powers. Ones that you MAKE UP.
42. So I know you read the rules, the special word is: svtalonrpgame
43. No two made up characters can have the same power. But a made up
character is allowed to have one of Clark's power (like Bart [the
flash] has speed like Clark)
44. No cussing while doing the role playing
45. Keep it APPROPRIATE.
46. ALL types of Kryptonite still has the same effect on Clark. And no
adding new types of Kryptonite like (Pink K makes him horney or
something....no)
47. Your character
can not be in two places at one time. (example: you can't be at the
kent farm and the talon at once. you can leave one and go to the
other, but you can't be at both at once)
48. If you want to have a made up character, you do not have to apply,
however you need either post or email me and tell me what their name
is, what their powers are (they don't have to have any), and if they
are good or evil.
Competition Rules
[Go
to Competitions]
49. the competitions
doesn't start until the first person submits a graphic.
50. The competition last 30 days from the first submitton. So you have
all the time you need to make your graphic, but if someone submits
theirs before you, then you have 30 days to add yours.
51. You may enter as many OF THE SAME TYPE of graphic (that is
appropriate for the specific competition) as you wish. What I mean by
this is, in the BANNER competition, you are allowed to submit as many
banners as you wish, but you may not enter any icons, videos, etc. The
more you enter the better chance you have at winning
52. On your graphic, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR FORUM USERNAME on it so I know
you made it and not someone else. Example. have a banner or wallpaper
or anything else and write made by:...whoever at the bottom
53. If I have seen the banner on another site, I will have to assume
you stole it. And you will be disqualified and not able to enter the
next competition.
54. Graphics have to e appropriate.
55. Every new competition is a round. The first one is round 1, then
the next is round 2, then 3, then 4.
56. I will create a thread that says 'round # voting', and members may
vote for your graphic on it. After the round has ended I will close
the thread.
57. Participants may not vote for themselves or other people's
graphics.
58. All graphics have to be saved to an image host. (Photobucket
is good, or
TeenImageS)
59. I (bhndbrwneyes) as
well as Sarah (punkpixie07) are the final judges of the competitions. For
example: If the members of the forum vote for your graphic more than
anybody elses, but we like someone elses graphic better, the other
person will win.
