Guest Stars: Ian Somerhalder (Adam)

*PETE LANDS HIMSELF IN SERIOUS TROUBLE AND DEMANDS CLARK USE HIS POWERS TO HELP HIM – After Pete (Sam Jones III) purposely blows a street race, the thugs that run it threaten his life, so he asks Clark (Tom Welling) to use his powers to stop them. Furious that Pete would put himself in this position, Clark must figure out a way to save Pete and still protect his secret. Meanwhile, Jonathan (John Schneider) begins to suffer the consequences of his deal with Jor-El and Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) discovers that Adam's (guest star Ian Somerhalder) doctor is treating him with a dangerous experimental drug.
* Pete's popular! So popular, in fact, that teens have gone to the point of exclaiming "Ross Is The Boss."
* Pete's apparently gotten involved in some kind of street racing. A guy named Dante is betting that Pete can win. Pete of course is nervous about this. When Pete refuses to cheat and loses, Dante angrily tells him he owes him 20 G's.
* A truck has a green exhaust, which makes us think "kryptonite gasoline?" (Please, no...)
* Pete gets a "hot kiss on the lips" from a girl named Mara as he revs the engine of his red car.
* Lex confronts a Dr. Chen about Adam. Apparently Adam's last name is Knight, no relation to Michael, and Adam has been injecting himself with "blood platelets of unknown origin." Lex questions the doctor about this, and when he doesn't get an answer he likes, he takes action, and then makes the situation that he himself controls.
* Clark uses his super-hearing and discovers the bad guys have planted a bomb in Pete's car.
* Product Placement Pete's car is a red Ford Focus.

Episode #3-14: "Obsession" February 18, 2004

Written By: Holly Harold
Directed By: James Marshall
Guest Stars: Ian Somerhalder (Adam)

* The Smallville High gang is taking a tour of the Luthorcorp Plaza, where Chloe snarks about "a Lionel Luthor exhibition. Next floor - victims, sycophants, and hatchet men."
* A girl named Alicia pulls Clark aside and tells him she knows what it's like to be like him, soon after the two of them had incidents where they learned each other's secrets. She, too, had an incident the day of the meteor shower. At one moment she was on her swingset. The next, she was in the middle of Main Street.
* Her powers allow her to teleport herself, and someone else that she touches. Sounds a bit like Nightcrawler of the X-Men to us. When she teleports, there is a green glow. She asks Clark if he got his powers from the meteors, too.
* Clark stumbles around the question with "Seems like everything ties into the meteor shower, doesn't it?"
* Lana wants to evict someone out of the apartment above the Talon, and looks to Lex for tenant laws. Lex tells Lana he'll take care of it, but that Lana may want to be away from the Talon while he takes care of things.
* Alicia shows up at Clark's barn and has placed a picture on herself on Clark's desk. She's also torn Lana out of his yearbook.
* Alicia's obsessed with Clark. "You didn't tell Lana about your secret. But you told me." Yes, friends, an episode that will make us beg for the Clana! She keeps telling Clark they're supposed to be together several times in the episode.
* Alicia's parents greet Clark and comment that it's so nice the two kids are together.
* Something happens to Alicia's father that makes him end up in the hospital.

Episode #3-15: "Resurrection" February 25, 2004

Written By: Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer
Directed By: Terrance O'Hara

* A man named Vince Torelli was dead, suddenly he's not.
* Whoever "resurrected" Vince wanted to give him a new identity and said that he couldn't contact anyone from his former life. Of course, he escaped. The people who "saved" him were in Metropolis. Hmm. He comes into contact with his 16-year-old brother Garrett and Clark, but then his eyes start dripping blood and he appears jaundiced.
* Vince's liver is rapidly deteriorating. Garrett is not so ready to lose his brother again.
* Jonathan is in the hospital having tests and may need open-heart surgery. Clark makes a comment "I always thought of my dad as a man of steel."
* Vince needs a liver donated, and Garrett demands that the liver be taken from the body of the man in the operating room next door - Jonathan Kent! But to take the liver would kill the donor... not something anyone is ready or willing to do. If he doesn't get his way, he'll "blow up this hospital faster than you can blink."
* Some kind of injection is all it takes to "resurrect" Vince.
* When all is said and done (and we're not going to tell you how things end up!) there is still some danger lurking.
* Lex and Chloe have some interaction in this story. And it sounds like a good one for the Kents!
