March third -- Delivery Day!!!
We worried over it the whole trip, as it bounced along for an hour on bumpy roads, but the straps held and the padding worked.  We were met at the dropoff location by Out Front representatives and members of the media.  Everyone was excited, and a spirit of community shown through as groups helped each other haul in their lighthouses.
Here it is!  All unwrapped and ready to stand before the world...

Channel 13 reporter Scott Piscopo shoots footage of "Postcards From Maine."

Scott also interviewed me briefly and the film ran at noon and 5:30.

Look at how that mica shines in the window area!  That's all mica chips  from Baldwin.  It's going to glow in the sunshine.  I'm very happy with it.
Here are some others that had been dropped off.  Some had been sculpted... check them out!
