Do you think they were happy to meet me? (grins) What a great time I had growing up. There were the boys to chase and big ol' Dillon to wrestle. When I first came here, both my ears were floppy, but as I got bigger...
.. first one ear learned to stand up...
... then both of them did. Of course, by then, the rest of me was too tired to stand up! A nice break in the shade is just the thing, or even better --- Pool time!!!!! Oh, yeah, call me spoiled. Twelve weeks old and I have my own pool! How about those ears now? My vet joked that I could probably pull in the local tv station with those. (sneezes indignantly) I was never an out-of-control youth. I loved to lie with my people for hours, and I NEVER chewed up anything that wasn't mine. If you're a rawhide bone, though, look out!

In 2001, we built a log cabin on a mountain. (Well, I didn't actually help much, but I entertained them.)
My new job is to guard the house from rabid deer, wild turkeys, and evil squirrels. (One of these days I'll catch that little bugger, too... oh sorry.) I'm kidding, of course. I do guard the house, though, and "help" with the gardening. What I really love is the hiking. With a mountain in our backyard, we have lots of room to explore. I have climbed to the very top and looked down from hundred-foot cliffs. This worries my owners a bit, but they know I'm smart enough not to chase birds. (grins)

So what's next? I've grown up big and strong, learned to be loving and gentle. I've climbed to the mountaintop and looked out over the world. I got my own webpage. What's next?
How about puppies? Yeah, I think puppies would be nice.
