People empty their cellars and attics and try to sell all that old stuff and clutter they've been keeping for years: furniture, books, shoes, clothes, grandma's slipper collection, auntie Marie's ugly heirloom lamp, records, tv's, rugs, t-shirts, china, toys, etc. etc.
Lots of people go into a creative mode and make little orange things themselves.
Then of course there are also performances everywhere. Well known bands and unknown bands compete for attention. Children are playing the two or three songs they've learned on their violin, recorder or harmonica.
It's one big party. The best day of the year.
