Since my little ones are getting older and my older ones are moving on, I will be implementing a curriculum program for ages 2-4 starting in September 2009.

I am also offering a discounted rate for a Tues/Thurs spot.

Rates

Full time - $150 week (6-10 hours/day....5 days/week)
Part time - $100 week (4-6 hours ....5days/week)
J.K S.K. - $125 week (5 days/week)
Hourly - $6 per hour (under 4 hours per day)
Hours are from 6:30am to 6:00pm
Please contact me for rates if you do not fall into the above categories.

* PA days, and snow days are included in the weekly rates for JK, SK and Part time rates.

Program

I believe that it is very important for young child to be able to express themselves creatively. I have various creative toys and craft supplies available for the childrens use. We have daily 'music hour' where the children are encouraged to grab an instrument and play along, sing and dance to the music. We take bi-weekly trips to the library and have occasional outings to early years centers, toronto zoo etc.
We have a daily story-time and a large collection of books for the children to read on their own. Lots of puzzles and games.
We will spend some time outdoors everyday, weather permitting.
We also have special days to celebrate a childs birthday or holiday.
I also provide character education. I encourage children to be respectful of others and to use their manners. I try to help them understand their feeling so that they can express them appropriately.
Older children are encouraged to help in the clean up after meals and snacks, by washing their own plates and sweeping the floor under their seat. Children of all ages are encouraged to clean up the toys at the end of the day.
Most importantly we have fun. Activities are geared to the interest of the children who are in my care on that day/time. I encourage children to explore their interests, but also encourage them to try new things,
