how to read tabs:
the line the number is on is the string or strings you hit and the number is what *fret you put your finger on...ex: if there was a 2 on the 5th line you would put a finger (any finger depending on other notes and stuff you need to play) on the 2nd fret of the 5th string (5th string is the second string from the top, remember that it starts counting from the bottom up so the thickest string is #6)
*fret- is the space between two metal bars on the neck of the guitar, some have dots |
