| 2001 - Summer continues and so does the weirdness |
| Molesting the cove on one sunny turned thunderstruck afternoon. Thanks to the free rentals it was a boating and fooding adventure. Afterwards we were banned from the location for the rest of the summer... I wonder why? Mounting the Mount - A end of summer adventure not to be undertaken by the sane or the addicted to civilization. We traveled to Mt. Carlton Provincial Park, aquainted ourselves with the park rangers, played some AIDS infested games of ultimate frisbee with Gen's bloody cast, mounted a mount called Sagamook, found the missing link (we'll just refer to him as Scotty Bon), perfected being Sully and throwing hatchets at a tree that is no longer standing (this might just be the reason that the park rangers remembered exactly what campgound and site we stayed in when we returned a year later), made a bear trap and a hammock for the chipmunks, had a massive orgy in a carnie tent and somehow no one died.... or did they? We also removed (aka ripped apart) Gens cast with 2 things, a multi-tool and brute strength. Post-Card-A-Rama : These have been the topic of many a coonversation and are more than worthy of hteir own individual page. Premise: Dave, Mike and Scott are all going to school in Freddytown. Gen and I, while visiting the Sheldrake Summer Camp and frolicking around the church grounds in Bartibog, come up with the idea of making a series of "Miramichi Moments" postcards that are more like postcards that just might not make it through the mail because of their 18+ rated-ness. So we went back to my house, rooted around the closet and came up with our first costumes, took some picutes, called Nancy, made her take us to Neguac for more adventures.... Passed out for a few hours... got up, filled the trunk of a car with potential costumes and forced Ja to drive around some of the most memorable places in Miramichi with us to complete our task. After stopping traffic several times and almost getting arrested by Occifer Matin Connel we made our way back to Barryville where we printed the pictures off and gussied them up with glitter and a couple of outrageous quotes. See most of the adventure inside.... it was definetely a larf! TEQUILLA! Fund raiser for something something, I can't remember right off, but the goal was clear, have the longest continuous tequilla wave and get into the Guinness Book of World Records (still no official word on if we did get in) so we all donated 10$ to participate, got a shot glass full of the smoothy rough booze, some salt and a slice of lemon. We lined 150 people up around the pub and started with number 1, shot, shot, shot, shot, shot.. etc etc 'till 150 and Woo hoo. Then we washed it down with some sour margaritas and were on our way. We raised a bunch of money...I think thats all that matter :) Junior Prom... this one is actually my junior prom and that means nothing but trouble! Halloween Part 1(Rocky Horror Picture Show) and Part 2 (Thalloween) Christmas Break Adventures on Church River - it was all fun and game with races and hockey.... until the ice started to crack and Jill and I almost fell in. |
