PAF Academy Risalpur

This Documentary was produced by PTV.
The script was written by me to describe in detail the various training activities carried out at the PAF Academy Risalpur. The thrill, excitement as well as the rigours of flying and ground training have been captured in this 25 min documentary.

Jazba-e-Parwaz

This documentary has been produced by me to depict the new status of the Academy. It describes the modern facilities and the additions to the curriculum at the Academy. It also contains some thrilling footage from aerial warfare in which PAF pilots participate.

Induction of F-16 and F-7P in PAF

Produced by PTV, The script was researched and written by me. The documentary presents the rationale behind the induction of F-16 and F-7P aircraft in PAF, their capabilities and the modifications carried out by PAF.

PAF as Seen by an Aviation Artist


Produced by PTV. The script was researched by me. The documentary presents three major episodes from the history of Pakistan Air Force pertaining to the 1948 Kashmir War, 1965 and 1971 Wars. It contains interviews of three veterans, one from each War and actual gun-camera clips. It discusses the representation of each episode and numerous others on canvas by the PAF artist, then Wing Commander Hussaini.

Pakistan Air Defence System

This documentary was produced by PTV.
It depicted the Air Defence Capabilities and also contained some thrilling dog fights. I researched and wrote the script and helped produce the documentary. The documentary won an international award at the competition held in Rome, 1996.

Silver Jubilee of 1965 War

The documentary was produced to record a. the celebration of the Silver Jubilee of the 1965 War. It also contained interviews of Air Marshals Asghar Khan, Nur Khan and other veterans. Copies of it were circulated amongst the war veterans.


30th Anniversary of 1965 War -

This documentary was produced to record the celebrations held at PAF Islamabad to observe the 30th Anniversary of 1965 War. Copies of it were sent to the war veterans and one copy each was sent to the President Sardar Farooq Laghari and the Prime Minister Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto at their request.

Mera Irtiqa Hai Musalsal Safar
The documentary describes the role of a. Air Transport Squadrons in PAF and gives the details of some daring episodes with the C-130 aircraft which were recreated for this documentary. Produced for PTV, I researched and wrote the script.

30th Anniversary of 1965 War -

Squash and PAF

The documentary was produced and written by me. Its purpose was to depict the pioneering role played by Pakistan Air Force in the promotion of Squash in Pakistan. It also contained interviews of some of the Squash Champions of yesteryears.

National Defence College

National Defence College constructed a brand new and modern facility at Islamabad to house the institution. At their request a documentary was produced for the introduction of this premier institution. The documentary was researched, written and produced by me.
It was telecast on PTV and NTM at the inauguration of its new premises by the President of Pakistan

This documentary was produced by me for depicting the training being conducted for the ladies at PAF Finishing School.
It was telecast on PTV, NTM and SPTV on 15 April, 1996.

This documentary was produced by me to depict the facilities offered by PAF Finishing School for Women. It was produced since the previous one had become out dated. It was telecast on PTV on 12 July, 2000.

To Sir with Love

This documentary was produced by me as a tribute to Mr Hugh Catchpole on his death. He had been the Principal of Military College Dehra Dun, Cadet College, Hasan Abdal and PAF College Sargodha. The documentary was taken by Air Marshals Asghar Khan and Nur Khan at the annual re-union of the Dunians. Air Marshals Asghar Khan, Nur Khan and I have been students of Mr Catchpole.

Turkish Air Force on Yaum-e-Fazaia


This documentary was produced by me to depict the brotherhood and love extended by the Turkish Air Force when it sent four F-16s to participate in the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The documentary was telecast on PTV and NTM on 9th September, 1997 and on Turkish Television on 12 September, 1997.

Khyber Steam Safari

To join us in our Golden Jubilee celebrations, the Royal Air Squadron of Britain paid a visit to Pakistan. One of the highlights of the visit was a tour of Torkham by the Khyber Steam Safari. A documentary was produced by me to highlight this visit and presented copies of it to the Royal Air Squadron as a memento.

Aghaz-e-Safar


This documentary was produced by me to observe the 50th anniversary of the daring escape of Flying Officer Mukhtar Dogar in his unarmed Dakota from the clutches of two Indian Tempest aircraft during the 1948 Kashmir War.
It was telecast on the 50th anniversary i.e. 4 November, 1998.

The documentary has been produced as a tribute to the F-6 aircraft, which have served the Pakistan Air Force for more than 30 years and groomed numerous generations of fighter pilots. The documentary contains some gun camera clips of the 1971 War.
