I've always loved the New York City skyline. The skyscrapers of Manhattan are an awesome sight, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing them. Here are a few pics that my pal Mike and I took this past year or so. Let 'em load first. (This page was originally created in 1998.)
Mike took this one from Brooklyn Heights with his Nikon 35mm.
The world-famous Empire State Building.
This is a favorite of mine. I basically jumped out into the middle of the street to capture this surreal-looking picture. (So what if I held up traffic?) ;-)
My favorite skyscraper, the Chrysler Building. With its art-deco stylings, many consider it to be the most interesting and ornate building in Manhattan. It was a cold, cloudy day when I snapped this picture from Long Island City.
