Day Two of the Smithcraft Festival

Annik - Saturday, May 25, 2002, 12:19 PM
----------------------------------------

Main Meadow(#700RJ)
The meadow ends here in a cluster of buildings dominated by the huge grey slate edifice to your south. This two-story building serves as the work hall for the smithcraft; if the stream of crafters rushing in and out of its double doors weren't enough to indicate its use, the almost constant sounds of craftwork from the hall would be. The air is still fairly chilly as the last signs of winter fade away, but warm spring breezes can occasionally be felt. All around, greenery is blooming and blossoming.
Glancing around, you note a few other buildings - the Dining Hall, partially connected to the Business Hall, to the east; the Apprentice Hall conveniently close to the Dining Hall, in the northeast; the smaller Journeyman's Hall directly to the north; and the Resident's Hall, to the northwest.

Talbak is standing outside the smith tent, counting marks.

Annik walks up the hill and pauses to glance around before heading towards the apprentice. "Talbak, how're things going up here?"

Talbak nods to Annik and grins, "Going well master, people are starting to go back to there holds though."

Annik shrugs and doesn't seem to be bothered. "Others will come later. That's why we had it more than one day."

Talbak smiles and nods, "How'd it go last night, Ma'am?" He asks, "I had to get to sleep early 'cos I was on the early tent duty this morning."

Annik raises an eyebrow slightly, though she smiles as she says, "I have a name, remember? But I think it went well last night. They seemed to enjoy the hall tour, especially when we went into the work hall."

Talbak nods, "Sorry Ma'am, Annik." He says, grinning. "Did you let any of the try glass blowing or metalwork?" He asks.

Annik shakes her head. "Nope. You know we barely like to let junior apprentices use those things, and visitors haven't even take the classes."

Talbak grins, "How're you, Ma'am?" He asks.

Annik rolls her eyes. "I'll be better when people stop calling me that, Apprentice."

Talbak quickly corrects himelf, "Master Annik, I mean." He grins, "Sorry."

Annik chuckles quietly. "You'll get it someday, I'll make sure of it. How have things been going in the tent?"

Talbak grins, "Quite slow, really." He says, "I haven't even had one customer buy something."

Carissa comes up the hill from the lower meadow.
Carissa has arrived.

Annik smiles and shrugs. "That happens sometimes. It may pick up eventually. I know some of the riders who visited last night were planning to come back and do some shopping." She waves at Carissa.

From above, Fjornth emerges from Between with a blast of cold air!

Talbak nods slowly and grins, then sees Carissa and smiles at her, "Hia, Carissa." He says.

Fjornth spirals down and lands carefully on the meadow.
Fjornth has arrived.

Carissa wanders up the hill, trying to balance something rather big in her arms, "G'day, Annik.." she calls, since she can't exactly wake. Talbak is eyed, "Hello, Talbak."

M'dron has arrived.

M'dron hops down from his blue, Fjornth, and offers a cheerful "'Reaches duties." to anyone listenning.

Annik smiles at the bluerider as he arrives. "Smithcraft's duties, and welcome," she replies.

Talbak looks at Carissa and smiles, "Want a hand?" He asks, he nods to M'dron but doesn't say anything, returning his gaze back to Carissa.

Carissa smiles at the rider, "'Allo. That would be nice, thanks.. Take this end?" she raises one arm slightly to indicate him to take the less heavily wrapped end, "And be careful."

Talbak takes the end and smiles at Carissa, "I will be," he says, glancing at Annik.

M'dron looks up, "Thanks." he says to Annik. "M'dron, rider of blue Fjornth."

Carissa nods towards the tent, and heads towards it, chattering, "So how fairs the Apprentice life?" She calls over her shoulder, "I'll be right back, Annik. I need to talk to you."

Annik glances around to nod at Carissa, then nods at M'dron. "I'm Annik. Well met."

Talbak grins at Carissa and moves towards the tent, "Same old, same old." He says, "How've you been?" He asks her.

Carissa heads into the SmithCraft Tent.
Carissa has left.

M'dron pauses, "So you made the necklace in the Smith Tent?" he asks.

Talbak heads into the SmithCraft Tent.
Talbak has left.

Annik grins and shrugs. "Well, I'm sure there's a least one in there that I've made. There's so many, you'd have to show me which one."

M'dron grins and nods, "Well, it's silver, and quite small, though pretty..." he sighs, giving in, "Should we go take a look?" he asks.

Annik smiles brightly and nods. "Sounds good to me."

M'dron heads into the SmithCraft Tent.
M'dron has left.

SmithCraft Tent (#15345Jem$)
You stand inside this airy tent. There are benches and tables showing the various wares that the Smiths have today. One table on the left has an arrangement of knives, ranging from plain hunting, to jewel-pommeled, non-functional knives, and even some eating knives. On the right, at the glasscrafters table, are an array of goblets, chalices and glass dragons which sit below a dangling array's of suncatchers that scatter the light around in a pleasing manner. A few machines sit in the center, mostly attracting a few confused looks from the majority of people, they would be VERY impressive if anyone other than the smiths knew what they were. In the far back hang some wind-chimes in both glass and metal, twisting and tinkling softly in the breeeze.
Standing next to each table is a helpful young apprentice, ready to find things for you and take your marks.
NOTE: +view-able things are available. Have a look, you'll like it.

You slip into the SmithCraft Tent to have a look around.

Carissa snorts, "I'm not dilusional and I called you-" she pauses and shrugs, "Anyhow, if you really want to see what it is, I'll show you. I don't usually do this sort of thing, but I've been bored lately."

Talbak grins at Carissa and nods, "Go on then," he says, stepping closer to her, "What is it?"

Annik walks in behind M'dron. She moves towards the jewelry table and points to a small silver necklace. "Was it this one?" she asks.

M'dron comes in followed my Annik. He browses the displays for a moment before pointing to the necklace. "That's the one, I as wondering how much I costs." he says

Carissa clears her throat and looks over Talbak's shoulder, "Alright.. hold this." She hands Talbak the blanket wrapped around the slender tube.

Annik picks up the necklace and smiles. "Actually, I didn't do this one, but another Master did. I would ask about two and half marks for it."

M'dron pauses and nods, "Oh well..." he says quietly, "Would it be possible for you to pass on the marks to him?" he asks, "If I were to buy it."

Annik nods at M'dron. "Yes, I certainly would," she replies.

Talbak holds the blanket and smiles, glancing behind him before looking back at Carissa, not the tube.

M'dron nods, reaching into a pouch and taking out the marks. "Thanks." he says.

Carissa snorts, "Anyhow.." She carefully slides her hand into the tube and lifts what appears to be the hilt of something very big-and definitely glass from the equivalent of pernese packing peanuts.

Annik smiles, "My pleasure. Would you like me to wrap this up for you?"

M'dron nods, "Yes please." he says, smiling.

Talbak grins at Carissa again, he ohs slightly, glancing at the object. "How long did you work on that for?" He asks.

Carissa snorts, extracting the sword, tinted every color imaginable to look quite real and still translucent, "Longer than it was worth."

Talbak smiles at Carissa again, "It's very pretty..." He says.

Annik steps behind a table to take out some cloth and carefully wraps up the necklace, handing it to M'dron. "Here you are."

Carissa blushes slightly and sends Talbak a dirty look, keeping an eye on the Craftmaster. "Ahem.. thanks. I don't know why I made it.. I'll probably end up sending Tanon flizzen-note asking if he wants the sharding thing."

Talbak smiles at Carissa, "I'll buy it off you," he says, grinning, "I've got three marks..." He adds.

M'dron hands the marks to Annik in return. "Thanks a lot." he says, "Before, Talbak mentioned something about fireworks, do you have any idea when they are?"

Annik nods as she pockets the marks. "They'll be a bit later today, after people have had enough time to finish their shopping."

Carissa shakes her head, "I'll sell it tonight, don't worry." She replaces the sword, and reaches a hand out for the blanket. "Thank you, though."

M'dron nods, "I'll see if I can come back later then." he says, "But I'll have a look around the other tents, even if I don't have any marks left."

Talbak smiles and nods slowly, handing over the blanket. "How long are you back here for?" He asks slowly.

Carissa sighs, "Just for the Gather." She smirks, "Why do you ask?"

Talbak grins and answers with a whisper.

Annik nods at M'dron and smiles. "In any case, I hope to see you around again. Enjoy the festival."

M'dron leaves the SmithCraft Tent
M'dron has left.

Carissa snorts, "You've little shame, don't you, Talbak?"

Talbak smiles, "Shame? I don't think I've got any, Ma'am." He teases.

Annik swivels around to look at Carissa and Talbak. "Now what're you two up to?"

Carissa nods, "I suspected that.." She look up and shrugs, "Nothing, Craftmaster. Just showin' Talbak my new project.."

Annik nods and steps over to look. "Yeah, I see that. A glass sword?"

Carissa shrugs and grins, "I was bored. Don't get many commisions from the 'Reaches. I figure someone might like it.."

Talbak looks around at Annik and smiles, "Nothin Ma'- err -Master Annik." He says, then nods to Carissa again."Your very good at guessing things, you know."

Annik ahs and shrugs. "It's certainly interesting. I'm sure someone'll like it." She pauses and asks, "Did you say you wanted to talk to me about something?"

Carissa indicates the sword, "We already did."

Annik nods, "Oh, okay then. How've you been, by the way?"

Carissa grins, "Alright, a bit boring, actually."

Talbak nods slowly, not really having anything to add to the conversation.

Annik raises an eyebrow. "I guess I'll have to find more for you to do, then."

Carissa shrugs, "I wouldn't mind really.. Its just that, where I'm posted, all the work I am doing isn't part of my subcraft. They need a metal worker, or a chemist, I think, more than a glasscrafter. I make.. pretty things.. Not flamethrowers.." her nose wrinkles in distaste.

Annik nods at Carissa. "Ah, that makes sense. I'll see what I can do." Looking at both of the other smiths, she smiles and asks, "So tell me, how d'you think this has been so far?" She waves a hand around, indicating the festival in general.

Talbak grins at Annik, "When I get to senior apprentice I could go...I'm hoping to go metal as my subcraft." He grins at Carissa.

Carissa rolls her eyes at Talbak, and then replies, "I haven't been here long. I just got here this morning, but it seems.. interesting." She shakes her head, "I was hoping to get a bigger turnout. We don't get good weather like this often."

Talbak grins at Carissa, then nods to Annik, "It's been good, I think." He says, smiling.

Annik shrugs at Talbak. "We'll have to see about that." She smiles at both comments. "It's afternoon... People have duties and things to attend to, but I suspect more will be around later this evening."

Carissa nods and asks curiously, "The harpers did agree to play, didn't they..?" Gathers aren't parties without music.

Talbak smiles, looking between Carissa and Annik. Not speaking.

Annik leans against one of the tables. "Well, they said they might, but apparently they've been really busy lately. We'll see, I guess."

Carissa nods, "Its a shame, I suppose.. We'll see though, yes.." she eyes Talbak, who is being abnormally quiet, and then asks, "So, firework, eh? been awhile since we had those around!"

Talbak smiles at Carissa, putting his hands in his pockets than glancing over the tables.

Annik grins at the mention of fireworks. "We've had them around, but we keep them put away so that no one accidently blows up the hall when we're not using them. How about we go and see about setting some off?"

Talbak grins at Annik, "Good thing too, I'd of blown up the hall by now if they weren't locked away."

Carissa considers and grins, "Sound fun.." She eyes Talbak and grins at Annik, "Watch him around the furnaces. I don't want anyone beating my explosion record!"

Annik just shakes her head as she heads outside. "Oh, I don't need to watch him. Wen does a good enough job."

Talbak smiles at Carissa, "And that was always my goal as a junior apprentice." He says, grinning.

You decide you've had enough of the Smith Tent and leave.

Carissa emerges from the SmithCraft Tent.
Carissa has arrived.

Talbak emerges from the SmithCraft Tent.
Talbak has arrived.

Talbak follows the two women out of the tent.

Korynn has arrived.

Taria has arrived.

Taria emerges from the smithcraft tent, where she's been quietly helping to oversee sales.

From above, Decarath emerges from Between with a blast of cold air!

From above, Yrinth emerges from Between with a blast of cold air!

Talbak grins at Annik, "Decided on your craftsecond yet?" He asks slowly, not wanting to sound cheeky.

From above, Decarath rumbles a welcome to the watchdragon, sailing toward the main meadow to land.

Decarath spirals down and lands carefully on the meadow.
Decarath has arrived.

Yrinth spirals down and lands carefully on the meadow.
Yrinth has arrived.

Annik smiles as she watches people arrive. "Welcome, everyone. We'll be starting our fireworks display soon."

Mounted on Decarath, Yashira undoes her straps, glancing over at Riane on Yrinth with a grin. She clambers down off Decarath's back.

Yashira dismounts Decarath.
Yashira has arrived.

Riane climbs down from Yrinth's back.
Riane has arrived.

Annik merely raises an eyebrow at Talbak. "Maybe I have, maybe I haven't."

Taria nods politely to the Telgar riders and their dragons arriving.

Carissa elbows Talbak in the side and hisses something to him.

Riane slides down Yrinth's side, patting her as she steps away. She nods to the Smithcrafters, and smiles lightly. "Telgar's duties."

Yashira salutes promptly once her bootheels hit the ground. "Telgar's duties," she echoes, with a nod to Taria.

Talbak nods and grins, looking at the different dragons ariving then looking back at Annik and Carissa, he grins slightly when Carissa nudges him, "No," he murmers to her.

Annik nods at Yashira and Riane. "Smithcraft's duties. Find a seat somewhere, and we'll be starting shortly."

Riane salutes belatedly after seeing Yashira, wincing slightly. She's busy taking in the surroundings and the people, and shooting 'be quiet' looks at Yrinth. "Thank you," she says politely, and begins scouting out a seat.

Yashira offers another salute to Annik, smiling a bit. "Thank you, Craftmaster." She looks to Riane, noting, "I like it here," as she follows the younger Weyrling to the seats.

Talbak nods to the two riders, then glances between all the smiths and steps back. "Who's going to light them?" He asks.

Carissa eyes the riders and nods, "Smithcraft's duties.." but its a very absent greeting, and she looks over at Talbak and snorts, "Whoever set them up?"

Annik grins at Talbak. "How about you?"

Talbak echoes Carissa, "Smithcraft's duties," then grins at the journeywoman then tilts his head at Annik, "Me?" He asks, smiling.

Yashira returns nods, replying with, "Telgar's Duties..." to each speaker. Finally, she plunks down into a seat, grinning with exitement.

Annik nods at Talbak. "Sure, why not? I'd rather you set them off out here than find them later and blow up the hall."

Arieseta walks out of the apprentice dorms.
Arieseta has arrived.

Riane sits down next to Yashira. "I haven't seen fireworks in... I don't know how long. Ought t'be interesting."

Yashira murmurs to Riane, "I've never seen them. I've heard about them, though."

Carissa snickers, "You're sure, Annik..?" she eyes the apprentice, "I mean, he could blow something up anyhow.."

Arieseta comes out from the buildings into the meadow and spots a few people she knows. A wave and smile is given in greeting before the girl sits down, prepared for this display of fireworks. What they were, she wasn't sure of, but she had a distinct feeling she was about to find out....

Talbak grins at Annik and nods, "Good idea." He says, moving towards the set of fireworks, he turns and looks at Carissa, "So little confidence in me, Carissa..." He says.

Annik nods at Carissa. "Yeah, just remember, if he does blow something up, I've got some junior knots lying around," she says with a grin. She smiles at Arieseta and waves.

Carissa snorts, "i've no confidence, and you've no shame. We're even." She eyes Annik in confusion, "huh?"

Annik mutters to Carissa, "... a joke... you know... threaten to demote... if he..."

Arieseta waves back to Annik. "Hello, Craftmaster, " she says with a grin. "Looks like we're going to have a good turnout. I've never seen this before, so I suppose I'll find out anytime soon what this is." Okay. Ignorance of fireworks has been outed. In a sense.

Talbak grins and moves to get a light for the firework, "I guess so," he says, winking at Cari. "I'm not going to blow anything up."

Carissa ohs and laughs, "That's _mean_.." she stops, "I think I like you even more now.. You better not, Talbak. Only _I_ have that privledge!" yes, because she does it so well.

Riane salutes lightly to the apprentice entering as she skims around, but then she turns back to wait anxiously.

Annik smiles at Talbak and nods. "Fire when ready."

Talbak nods and grins, moving towards the set of fireworks, the light extended in one of his arms.

Carissa puts her fingers in her ears and winces jokingly.

Talbak carefully lights the first fuse of the line of rockets, then quickly backs away as it sputters to life.

The rocket shoots into the air, then explodes in a bright red fireball explodes overheard forming many blue, red, green, and purple glowing flames in a shower of light.

As the balls burn out they turn to silver stars lingering slowly in the air until gone.

Annik grins as she looks up and watches.

Head tilted up to the sky, Yashira's jaw drops. She lets out an enthusiastic cheer as the fireball explodes, hooting her approval.

Riane points upwards, leaving one ear plugged. "Look at that!" Like it's easy to miss. "Shards!"

Taria sits back to enjoy the show,. She seems a little tired, but smiles at people as they move past her. "Beautiful work. Who packed that one?" she asks of a nearby fellow crafter.

Carissa stands up straight again and lifts her chin, watching the heavens and smiles, "My regards to whoever did those. Very nicely constructed.."

Talbak watches with awe as the firework explodes, forgetting he has a burning stick in his hand he quickly drops it when the flames warm his skin to an uncomfortable temperature, "Didn't blow anything up that time."

Annik chuckles at Talbak. "Good job so far. Keep going."

"I see, I see!" Yashira says, slamming her hands together in applause.

Carissa snorts, "No, but you almost burnt your hand.." She laughs at the enthusiastic group and shakes her head.

Talbak glances around then bends down to pick up the flame again, holding it lightly. "Fire 2." He says, grinning.

Talbak lights the second fuse, backing away and peering upwards.

The rocket zooms into the air and explodes, sending streaks of blue and green across the sky.

Riane claps for this one, ooohing as it explodes into blues and greens.

Yashira laughs, pointing up at the sky and turning to Riane. "See, there's Yrinth, and Peth, and Dariyath, and Sussurath - and that blue streak can be Phoukath..."

Talbak smiles at Carissa and nods, "That I did," he says, throwing the stick onto the ground and moving to light a longer one.

Riane grins. "Wonder if we'll see any browns or bronzes, too."

Carissa oohs appropriately, clapping, "Very nice.. very pretty.." She eyes the apprentice nervously, still not quite trusting him.

Annik keeps one eye on Talbak as she watches the show.

Talbak grins at Carissa again, "You don't trust me?" He asks faking a sigh, "Ah well, time for the next one." He creeps towards it again.

After lighting the third fuse, Talbak backs away and plugs his ears, perhaps giving a hint of what is to come.

With a loud whoosh! a single shell flies aloft. It is followed in rapid succession with six other shells, the noise of their launching blending into a single continuous roar. For a brief moment, there is silence, as the crowd holds its breath in anticipation of the display.

Suddenly, the first shell explodes, burning a fiery red arc across the sky. Soon, an orange arc appears, then a yellow, followed by green, blue, indigo and violet, all arcs perfectly aligned to create a huge, blazing rainbow in the sky.

"Shards! -Look- at that!" Riane nearly shouts, excited. "Decarath's gotta be in there somewhere." She grins. "That's... wow."

Annik smiles at the latest display. "I never liked chemistry," she murmurs. "But I'm certainly glad we have it."

Yashira echoes Riane, announcing, "Shards! That's - it's -!" Great, she's gone inarticulate.

Carissa nods, "Makes beautiful things, doesn't it?" She grins, looking over at Talbak to see how he's fairing.

Talbak smiles as he watches the fireworks, glancing at the other smiths. "We should have a lesson in making fireworks," he says, smiling at Annik. "Or is it too dangerous to do that?"

Annik nods at Carissa. "Yes, it does." She smiles at Talbak. "Oh, sure we can."

Talbak smiles and looks around, "Want to light one, Carissa?" He asks, "To maintain your reputation of blowing things up?" He smiles and offers her the litten stick.

Taria giggles softly at that. "You don't need a lesson for that, half my chemistry experiments seem to blow up without trying." she teases.

Carissa wrinkles her nose, "I s'pose.. you seem to be doing a fine job, though.."

Talbak smiles at Carissa, then nods to Taria, "So do mine, but never in any colour but black." He glances around then looks back to the glasssmith, holding out the stick for her to take it.

Carissa takes the stick and glares at the fireworks for no reason before leaning foreward and stretching her arm out as far as she can without moving from her spot to light the fuse.

Carissa lights the fourth fuse and moves away from the rocket.

The rocket shoots into the air, then explodes, sending orange and yellow sparkles fluttering to the ground.

Talbak smiles at Carissa, "You didn't blow anything up...That's not right." He winks at her.

"How many of these things do they have?" Yashira murmurs in astonishment, pounding her hands together to applaud again.

Carissa snorts, "I've blown up more things in my time here than you probably have in your life, Talbak. Not about to bodge in front of all these lovely smiling faces." She winks and goes back to Annik.

Annik chuckles quietly as she listens to Talbak and Carissa.

Talbak grins and nods, "Anyone else want a go at lighting it?" He asks, turning to Annik, "Would you like to light one, Master?" He asks, glancing between Annik and Carissa.

Annik smiles and steps forward. "Fine, I'll do one," she says and takes the lighting stick.

Annik lights the fuse, scooting back to let it do it's damage.

With a loud pop, three small projectiles shoot off, one after another, into the night sky, leaving behind them a spiral set of white trails.

The silence is suddenly rocked by an immense explosion and the dark sky is lit up by a barrage of colors. First, a circle of emerald green erupts. A small dot that then expands outward, making a hoop. As the green drifts back to the ground, a tiny, hand sized spec of blue suddenly is seen, followed, instants later, by a brilliant blue expanding hoop, slightly to the right of where the green was. The instant before the blue has faded from view, a brown circle starts its own expansion, the color light enough to be seen against the midnight blue sky before fading quietly from view.

Talbak nods and moves closer to Carissa, "I've only blow a few things up, maybe you could teach me how to blow stuff up in a more chaotic way?" He asks.

"There's Decarath!" Yashira hoots, elbow shooting out toward Riane's ribs.

Carissa looks over and smiles, "Behave, Talbak."

Annik grins as she watches, ignoring the other smiths for the moment.

Talbak grins at Carissa for a moment, watching the firework with one eye and Carissa with the other.

Riane almost stands in excitement. "Ooh!" Then, as she's jabbed in the rib, "Ow!" She just rubs it, then she's back to gaping at the display.

Taria grins and slips back inside the tent to relieve one of hte other smith apprentices.

"Sorry!" Yashira says.

Taria heads into the SmithCraft Tent.
Taria has left.

Talbak smiles, glancing at the Telgar weyrlings then looking at Annik, waiting to see if she wanted to light the last one.

Annik gives a slight shake of her head, indicating for Talbak to light the last one.

Talbak nods to Annik and, glancing around again quickly, moves to light the fuse.

Niobe emerges from the ornate door of the business hall.
Niobe has arrived.

Talbak grins in anticipation as him lights the final fuse, then steps away from the rocket.

The rocket soars into the air, then explodes with a bright flash of red, which slowly fades to black.

Colors stream from the faded black, first green, then blue, brown, bronze, and finally gold. The colors remain in the sky for a moment, then slowly fade to nothing.

Yashira thrusts her fists in the air, cheering happily. "Woooo!"

Talbak smiles and steps back, moving towards Carissa again and smiling at her.

Riane stands up and lets out a big cheer, clapping enthusiastically.

Niobe jumps up, "Hey! What about /me/?!"

Annik applauds as the last of fireworks is set off and waves as she sees Niobe. "You missed it, Niobe, but don't worry, there'll be another time."

Carissa smiles back, "Nice job, Tally." She smirks and heads towards the hall, and murmurs, "I'm gunna get something to eat.."

"Ah, damn," Niobe mutters angrily under her breath, face more than a bit ticked off.

Talbak nods to Niobe and smiles then looks at Carissa and smiles at her, "Shall I join you?" He asks.

Carissa shrugs a shoulder, "If you want.."

Talbak smiles and nods slowly, glancing around.

Annik looks sternly at Niobe. "Cool it," she warns gently. "You'll get your chance."

Niobe starts a tad, but hides ir, nodding stiffly at Annik - blank look on her face, but eyes still furious. "Yes, ma'am."

Talbak nods to Carissa and smiles, "See ya later... I've got to work in the tent."

Talbak heads into the SmithCraft Tent.
Talbak has left.

Carissa heads into the journeyman hall.
Carissa has left.

Annik smiles at Riane and Yashira. "Thank you both for coming. I hope you've enjoyed yourselves."

Yashira grins at Annik, head bobbing. "We did - that was great - I've never /seen/ fireworks before."

"Neither have I," Niobe grumbles under her breath.

Annik grins back at Yashira. "Well, I'm glad you were able to be here. We'll have to do this again and invite Telgar over to watch."

Yashira nods rapidly. "I'm sure lots of people would be interested. My mother would love this."

Riane climbs up onto Yrinth's back.
Riane has left.

Yrinth takes flight into the air above the Hall.
Yrinth has left.

Annik nods, smiling. "I'll see about contacting your Weyrleaders, then. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some business to attend to, but please enjoy the rest of the festival," she says.

Yashira nods to Annik, grinning. "That would be great. Thank you so much, Craftmaster."

Annik nods again. "My pleasure," she says and heads inside.

You head through the ornate entrance into the Business Hall.
