Carissa giggles, souldn't we start...Yeah Loren! don't ever tell Wen she's put on waight, I think she's very ooc beautifly, even if I am Icly scared to death of her...
Wen nods. "Yes, that's how it should be."
Loren whumps when struck face on with the pillow. "Oh, ok. Staff? Yes, we need staff... Staff makes the RP posibilities much more diversified. We can have interesting subplots running amonst the staff and smiths... inter-hall/hold/weyr staff meetings... the list is endless.
Carissa oers? okay, what the...?
Malan shuts the door tightly behind him as he walks into the lounge.

Annik says "The question is, do you think we need more staff around here? And if so, what jobs do you think we need filled in?"
Krysta interjects an observation. "Does that mean the smiths will be more welcoming to the minor staff?"
Annik says "More welcoming? Haven't we always been welcoming?"
Loren says "Well, that implies we haven't been. I hadn't noticed a short coming, but then I haven't encountered many members lately."
Carissa snorts "you people type faster than I can read, plus I'm swiching through people here...."
Annik grins, "And that brings us back to our original point about not having much staff in the first place."
Loren says "I believe we're all members of this hall and we're here to enjoy RP. I think it's a two way street. WE get out what we put in."
Annik has had the exact same thing happen before Carissa. There'll be a log if you miss something. :)
Krysta says "I'm been welcomed yes. But have felt that I never fit in and get dismissed from RP when I try to get involed. This is just a personal observations of course."
Annik eeks! I hope I wasn't one of those people...

Loren runs through our roster. "We do have holes. No steward, no assistant stewards. Kasi isn't on much at all. Krysta and Ikal are our bakers. ... We may be seeing the effect of not many players and diverse online times.
Annik smiles, "You are not JUST kitchen staff. I think everyone, smith or not, is important!"
Annik says "What about Coelle? Are we going to bring her back as HW?"
Krysta says "But I have felt an undercurent. It's smiths based rp here. :) For eg. I was here once and was given a comment. Why don't you go back to your kitchens. Well It didn't feel very welcoming to remian for the rp if you understand. :)"
Loren says "She doesn't seem too interested. I tried chatting with her about the one time in three months we were online at the same time. She didn't think her online time would be getting that much better."

Annik thinks everyone has felt out of place at one time or another, with at least one alt. Sometimes it just happens, and the people who are doing don't realize it. Other times, they do and they're being idiots. If it happens once or twice, you probably shouldn't take offense, but if it happens all the time, then that's a problem.

Annik nodnods. "What's done is done. And we've learned that we need to be nicer to our staff members. For Faranth's sake, they're the ones who keep the hall running!"

Loren says "Is it a clique or is it a question of knowing how to RP with staff? Remember, there's none of us except for Chandor that's been a smith long enough to remember when we had any staff to RP with."
Argothe nods to Aliara, "That's something that every one needs to work on..myself included. What do you think we can do to 'smooth' it over?"
Chandor hmms, connecting from a euro timeframe I almost nevre have seen enough smiths online the same time to notice cliques
Malan says "I haven't noticed any cliques, really. There's not enough of us."
Annik nods and really doesn't ever see staff on, so I've never noticed it.

Annik hmms... Well, the times when we're all just sitting around talking is easy. We have conversations like normal people. Even though some of us aren't normal. :)

Loren says "One way to up the population, at least for some, would be to advertise when we'll most likely be online."
Annik says "Okay, so maybe problem isn't the right word. But my point is that there are always some rooms that nobody goes into or RPs in."
Aliara always finds, that having fewer rooms, forces people to bump into each other more often, for RP ;)
