The 1999 Team

The 1999 team was our first team. This team consisted of Sandra Alonso, Anna Lopez, and Lily Marquez. Originally, we did not plan to carry the program over after the first year. We planned to identify as many former students who had died in Vietnam as possible, and then, hold a school rally honoring them. The program, in general, and the school rally, in particular, were so well received that it was decided to continue the program.

Credit for this success lies completely with this first team. They set the professional tone for future teams and set the high standards which were met by the following teams.

Unfortunately, the photographs of the first rally and other events have been lost. We are still looking and, if found, photos will be added to this page.
