Wow. Hm. What to say about me. I'm Slytherin Dragon, but if you're here you already know that.

I'm a college student who writes in her spare time... scratch that. I'm a writer who goes to college when she's not otherwise occupied... mostly joking, but I love writing. And reading. And such.

Right now, what I write is fanfic, though watch this site in case I get an idea for an original story. If I come up with a plot, the story'll probably go here before I can muster enough courage to submit it for publication somewhere. You have been warned.

The only genre I have really written a lot in is Harry Potter, though I do have one Lost In Space story, which will be here too, never fear. As far as reading goes, I love fantasy, mystery, and certain types of humor and science fiction. Listing my favorite authors would take a whole lot of space, but I will list a few anyway, since you can always go home if you're bored. So, in no particular order, a few of my favorite authors are JK Rowling, Robert Jordan, Lemony Snicket, PG Wodehouse, Lois McMaster Bujold, JRR Tolkien (it's against the rules to be a fantasy junkie and not mention him), Agatha Christie, and Terry Pratchett. And that's just the tip of the iceberg; there are many many other authors that I would mention if their names sprang to mind at the right time.

I'm also a comic book junkie, hopelessly addicted to shoujo manga and fantasy comics. Comics can be a wonderful medium, and there are some wonderful stories out there. Sadly, not as many people read them as they used to, and small comic shops are closing left and right.

Accordingly, I will mention a few comics that I read or have read and enjoyed, in the hopes that even one person who reads this page will give comics a try. Right now, I have two hands-down favorite titles, ones I wait with baited breath for. Thieves and Kings is one of them(check my links page, I've got a link to I-Box Publishing, this comic's publisher), and it's a fantasy story with humor, action, adventure, and some really great characters. The other is Girl Genius, from Studio Foglio, which is a total scream and is shaping up to be a very good story.

Can't think of anything else to say... well, if you like reading me jabber about myself and my interests, I may update this page with more stuff occasionally with more stuff.
