| Obiturary in The Bakersfield Californian 29 Jan 1985 Conley, Thelma Lucille Services will be conducted at 2 pm today, Tuesday in The Light House Tabernacle Church of God on San Diego and Kearney St in Lamont for Thelma L. Conley, 58 of Rural Arvin. The Rev. Mildred Bankston will officiate; interment will follow in the Arvin District Cemetery. Mrs Conley a native of Ringling, Oklahoma came to California in 1939. She settled in Arvin in 1941 and married her husband Pat on October 15, 1945. She worked as a farm loborer for Patterson and Hale farms; she retired in 1976. Besides her husband Pat, she is survived by three sons, Larry, Jerry and Gary, all of Bakersfield; three daughters, Katherine Weldin and Linda Horlacher both of Bakersfield, and Patricia Karr of Arvin; a brother, Kenneth Harmon of Santa Maria; fifteen grandchildren. Casketbearers will be Paul Hollingsworth, James and Les Ledbetter, Steve Fijsom, Clyde Bybee and Don Brown. The J. W. Sams and Sons Funeral Home. |
| Obituary Notice in Bakersfield Californian 7 Dec 1992 Conley, Pat Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, Dec 8, 1992 at the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Lamont for Pat Conley who passed away Dec. 3 in a Bakersfield Hospital The Reverand Paul and Mildred Bankston will officiate with interment following at the Arvin District Cemetery. Pat was a native of Oklahoma and moved to California in 1941. He was employed by Thompson Ranch and retired from Tejon Ranch in June 1992. He is preceded in death by his wife Thelma, brother Curits of Oklahoma, brother Neff in Oklahoma, and sister Erma Nell of Texas. He is survived by three sons, Larry and his wife Jesslyn, Jerry and his wife Midge, and Gary Conley all of Bakersfeild; three daughters, Katherine and her husband Joe Weldin, Linda and her husband Jerry Horlacher, and Patricia Karr all of Bakersfield; three brothers, Howard Conley of Bakersfield, Jack and Joe Conley both of Oklahoma; and one sister, Rebecca Palmer of Norwalk, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be George C Noblia, George T Noblia, Gilbert Camarillo, Lance Weldin, Randy Weldin, and Everett Craftorr. Visitation will be held from noon to 8pm today J.W.
