CAP (customized arcade panel)
project involves building a customized
arcade control panel.
Control panel box is build from a 2'x4' piece of
wood from scratch, it is purchased
at Home Depot, cut at Minton's lumber
yard, and assembled in my
backyard. Joysticks and buttons are purchased
from Happ controls; keyboard
encoder IC (integrated circuit) is
purchased from a guy from
UK. The panel is hooked up to a PC (personal
computer) via PS2 connector.
I chose STB Velocity 128 graphic card in this
PC simply because it's available
and has a TV output. Once everything
is connected, I can play arcade
games with my dad's 50" TV and using
realistic arcade style control.
Followings are snapshots of progress of
this project.
