*Mary’s View*
It was so good to be good with Brian again. I felt horrible about the way I left him. Though I agree that he did deserve most of what he got. So we went back to the rear of the bus and chill with the others. All of a sudden Kevin blurted out something about him being hungry.
“What did you say,” I asked.
“Food, I want to eat.”
“That’s strange usually it’s Nick who wants food.”
“Burger King,” Kevin asked.
“Burger King is good,” AJ said finally realizing they were speaking of dinner.
“Burger King it is,” Brian said.
So we had the bus pull into the nearest BK. Me, AJ, and Nicky ordered the food. It took forever!
“I seem to recall being in this situation before.” AJ mentioned.
“Huh?” Nick asked, being the slow one.
“Remember… ‘By God we’re still waiting on our food’.”
“Oh yeah… I’m gonna have to apologize to Howie for that again!”
“I don’t think so Nick. It’s okay I’m sure.” AJ reassured. So they finally got the food and we sat down at a table in the corner. I got my usual chicken sandwich. I love chicken sandwiches by the way. I just hated the little chewy parts. There were several different conversations going on. Mine was between Brian and Nick.
“I’m glad you guys are talking again.” Nick said relieved.
“Me too.” I smiled. What could be better? A new best friend and my long time friend now boyfriend. I have never had such a good relationship.
“So… What were you girls up to during those six months?” Brian asked.
“Well, there was a lot of hanging out by the pool and jet skiing. We also developed our own language.”
“That’s all very interesting, but I am feeling like causing some chaos.” Nick grinned. He took one of his fries and tossed it at Rachel who was in deep conversation with AJ.
“Hey!” She shouted. Suddenly changing her attitude she smiled. “You know Nick, if you’re going to throw things you have to do it right.” I knew what was coming. She tossed a fry at Brian and yelled, “doink!”
“Hey…” he laughed, “you doinked me.” I thought it was funny that he got the terminology right too.
“Pass it on.” Rachel giggled. So Brian tossed a fry in So’Cy’s direction.
“Doink!” He called. So’Cy grinned and tossed one at Kevin and thus the fry fight ensued. It was some very cool fun. A great start on the tour. The tour was great and they all lived happily ever after!
Corny ending huh? That’s the way I like it!
