Summer Theology Guidelines

An accurate attendance record needs to be taken.
If a student will be late or absent, a parent needs to call the switchboard (531-0330) by 8:30 am. If you cannot get hold of a person, please leave a voice mail with your son’s teacher.
If a student is not in class by the first break, the teacher will call home to check. Teachers should have parent’s work phone numbers or cell phone numbers.

Sophomores/New Testament: Mr. Sciuto 531-0330x 545 or m_sciuto@sluh.org.
Juniors/Faith: Mr. Jon Ott, 531-0330x 541 or ott@sluh.org

Please fill out the yellow emergency card and bring it to the first class.

Students and parents can contact the teacher as above in emergency or with any questions or concerns.

Dress code: A “relaxed” warm weather dress code. You can wear tennis shoes and nice, clean appropriate T-shirt. Please use good judgment.

Homework: A half hour to 45 minutes per class.

Student parking will be on the student by the baseball stadium. Do not park on the Oakland lot. You can park on Oakland Avenue in front of the school building.

Classrooms will be open by 8 am every morning, often earlier. Please get to the classroom by 8:55. We want to begin promptly at 9. Classrooms and computers will usually be available till noon each day.

We clean our own class rooms. Students are asked to take care of the classroom. They might asked to help. Trash might have to be taken to the dumpster once a week. The boards have to erased and washed every day or two. The floor might need cleaning or vacuuming every week.

Tuition: Students pay a $100 deposit at course registration. Rest of the summer fee will be on the yearly tuition bill.
