10 points homework, quizzes, class work.
10 point journal always due on Friday at the begining of class. This should be your web page and a hard copy should be handed in with the weekly test.
Four parts, rubric grading:
1) One paragraph summary of the key idea summarizing the topic of the week.
2) List and explain three of the most important ideas you want to remember from this week.
3) One image of that reminds you of the topic. Attribute, link, your source.
4) One good question you should keep with your to ponder.
5) What should you try to do to make you a better person, a more faithful person, form this study.
Homework: reading, some quizzes, some assignments will be graded and recorded but not be part of the numerical grade. These evaluations will be used to gauge effort, cooperation, and help the student to know if he is doing and understanding the content on a short term basis. He will receive one overall grade for quizes, homework and classwork per week.
A Final Exam worth +50.
Remember that you can earn up to +15 in, doing one ten pointer and one five pointer. All extra credit needs to be approved by the teacher.
