Section II Web assignment
Part I: Research a Moral System and Create a Web Site
This is a beginning guide. Please help me build this page into a good requirement and review page.
1. Study and learn about moral system. One will be assigned to you. You can ask for one or yo can sugest another not listed.
2. Create a web page. Web page must include:
Story of origination.
Major elements of moral teachings summarized and explained.
Key ethical terms.
At least two pictures.
3. Each must have links embedded. Sources for each section as links must also be included.
All the above must be in your own words. The source of anything you "cut and paste" must be attributed or it is plagiarism.
For each center on the morality/ethics of the religion.
1. How does it originate?
2. Give and explain the major elements of his moral teaching. You need to do this such a way that the elements can be discussed and applied.
3. List and define the key moral terms of this ethical/philosophical system.
You should be able to relate its teachings on the most important moral challenges we all face: words, sexuality, alcohol, material goods.
Part Two/Presentations
All students will be responsible for learning the origination, major elements and key terms of Judaism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Islam. Each student will do a researched web site on one of these and will rely on his classmates to share with him the knowledge of the other systems via their web sites and a class presentation.
There will be a worksheet on the internet to guide your study.
Four Major Moral Systems: Judaism, Confucianism, Buddhism, Islam.
Other philosophical/ethical systems chosen by students in the past:
Virtue Ethics, Moral Relativism, Nihilism, Anarchism, Hedonism, Quakers. Suggestions of other systems are welcome.

Make sure you clearly and completely render these major teachings: The Four Noble Truths, The Eightfold Path, The Five Precepts
