When was the last time you really took time to say thanks to your our mom and/or dad? Tell them concretely and specifically what you are grateful for. You have to give them this on Thanksgiving.

This letter must be done very neatly and must be handwritten. Or if typed, must be pasted into some kind of card. If you do the thanksgiving letter, you must give me a copy of the letter.
Create a bookmark.
Make this a real sacramental. This must have some words on it--and any words on this must be typed. Add an important idea which you want to keep in mind: how to really get an assigned reading, or the qualities of friendship, or the beatitudes, or some other key idea of the course. You might even consider going to Kinko�s and getting your bookmark laminated.
