Bible reading/Ignatius story: Ignatius prayed by putting himself in the middle fo the biblical passage as if he were right there. The Beatitudes, Matthew 5, show a major teaching of Jesus. If Jesus were to walk down the halls of SLUH, what wwould he see? What would he say?
Message/Challenge: The Beatitudes are a call for us to respond. What should our response to Jesus' call be? AMDG? Magis? How will you respond?

Bible reading/Ignatius story: Why aren�t the members of this religous order called Ignatians? Why Jesuits?
Theme: The desire to try to live a life as a companion to Jesus. "Companions" with bread. Ignatius wants his men to be companions of jesus, to help build his Kingdom.

Theme: Finding God in All Things
Theme: Began with a centering prayer; "spiritus." The First Principle and Foundation: We are made by and for God, and we will not find happiness till we find God. Augsustine quote "We are made by God and for God; nothing else can satisfy our hearts. God speaks three words to you
- a cosmic "I love you. Don't you know I did all this for you?"
- gifted prohets with his messae
- personal "I love you" in Jesus.

Theme: Being a man for others is more than just being charitable; difference between charity and justice.

Message: Seniors prepare to go out and serve and love others and to see the face of Christ in all served; freshmen prepare to take on the responsibilities of homeroom without seniors present. Mr. Curdt handed out prayer cards and asked seniors to pray for freshmen and freshmen to pray for seniors.

will be invited to take one Monday and lead the prayer service.

Theme: Sacred space.
Message/Challenge: To hear the word of God you must go to a special place and listen. Moses had the mountain, Jesus had the desert, Ignatius had a cave. Where is your special place?
